CHAPTER 3

I Met Some Devils

"Congrats my love! You made it!"

How the hell did he know? I grabbed my phone and dialed his number. First attempt and he picked it up as soon as it rang.

"Ola! How was your first day, my love?" his voice was too masculine.

"If I found out I achieved something because of you, I will kill Savannah."

"I-I promise! I didn't do anything... for now. Don't kill my baby, my love!" I sighed and turned off the call.

I entered my dorm room and as expected it was neutral. Siguro dahil mga lalaki ang nakatira dito. We have separate rooms and a lounge, kitchen, and dining table. I checked my room. May numerong tatlo sa pinto na nakalagay kaya pumasok ako roon. It was just I thought. A white, black, and blue room. I placed my uniform at the cabinet. Inayos ko din lahat ng nasa maleta ko at inilagay sa kwarto ko. Incase my rank would go down the numbers of the door would change, that is if I would still be in rank 10. Like rank 3 to rank 7 I would still be here but the numbers right at the doors would be changed but if I go over 10 I would be back at the Pavilion section,which is under this floor.

Matapos kong ayusin lahat ng gamit ko ay lumabas ako para tingnan kung may laman ang kusina. Bawat kwarto may banyo. Binuksan ko ang refrigerator. Puno iyon ng pagkain, hindi ko mapigilan pansinin yung note sa baba. Napapikit ako sa inis. It was him! Again!

"This is for Arthria, ONLY." I immediately crumpled that note and throw it to the garbage can beside the ref. I grabbed some chocolates and eat some of it. Naka-upo lang ako sa counter ng may pumasok na kalalakihan. Napababa ako ng wala sa oras dahil sa pagpasok nila. Hindi naman nila ako napansin kay pasimple akong naglakad patungo sa pintuan ng kwarto ko.

Pipihitin ko na sana ang pinto ng may tumilapon na bagay papunta sa akin. Napakunot ang noo ko habang kagat-kagat ko ang tsokolate na kinakain ko mula sa kusina. Pagtingin ko sa patilim, agad akong humarap sa nagmamay-ari nito at itinapon pabalik nang hindi niya napapansin. Some strand of his hair was cut but I don't care. Napasinghap ang ilan sa kanila dahil sa ginawa ko.

Hinawakan ko ang tsokolate na kagat ko at nagsalita. "Kanina ka pa! Magsabi ka lang kung gusto mo nito hindi naman ako madamot!" pagkasabi ko 'non agad kong isinara ang pinto ko at humiga sa higaan ko. Tiningnan ko ulit ang tablet at nakita ko sa gilid ang mga task na kailangan kong tapusin.

"Weapon?" pinindot ko iyon at doon nagsilabasan ang mga weapon na maar kong gamitin para sa tasks na gagawin ko. Pero halos lahat sa kanila ay gamit na nang ibang studyante na nasa rank 10 na. But none of them choose the guns so I clicked the guns.

While I was scrolling for guns, someone knocked at my door. I got up and opened it.

"Uhm-hi! I'm Cello. I saw you picked the guns... and do you know that every weapon has its own challenges to test if it really fits you?" my face drops. Another test again. Umiling ako bilang sagot sa kanya.

"Also guns have the hardest test." Dagdag pa ng isang lalaki sa likod ni Cello. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa chocolate na hawak niya. It's mine! Napansin niya ata na nakatingin ako sa kinakain niya kaya napakamot siya sa ulo. Magsasalita na sana siya kaso inunahan ko na.

"It's fine. Just tell me if you want more." His face brighten up. "I'm P, as in letter P."

"I'm Ace." I gave out a slight smile. Cello invited me to the sala and told me everything about weapons. And I just found out that the ranks in rank 10 does not change only if anyone in them disregards the rules just like that Rowther did earlier. Rank 10 students would only gain points if they accomplished the tasks given. Rowther was doing the wrong thing although he could really gain some points beating the weaks.

"I'm currently in rank 6 and Cello is rank 8." P said. Tumango naman sa sinabi nila.

"I'm sorry, I was just thinking that if I could rank higher I will not be attending afternoon classes." I said plainly.

"It's ok! It's not like we've been with Rowther for a long time. He's only been here for 3 days and now you replaced him higher than he placed." Tawa ni Cello. They told me that Rank 10 was casually changed every week but since I got in it seems like ranks in top 10 would not suffer any changes anymore. Pwera nalang kung may grumaduate o aalis.

"Btw, how did you beat him?" P asked.

Simple. "He told me he was going to beat me in 3 minutes so I gave him 3 minutes---"

"She knocked him off." Someone from the back said.
