CHAPTER 39

Make My Heart Flutter

"Grabi talaga pre! kinulong nila ako sa kulungan ng baboy!" rinig kong reklamo ni Renzo na may benda sa kamay. Napatawa naman ang iba.

"Gago! ako nga binali nila paa ko! Magbababayad talaga sila!" may bantang sabi ni Max.

"May dumi ka sa mukha." I checked my face in the mirror near my bed. I picked it and shoved it away. "Thanks, Bill." He beamed a smile.

Kanina pa sila nandirito. Bago pa ako nagising. Nasa parehong kwarto kasi kami ni Soul nilagay nila kuya at tulog pa naman si Soul. His wounds from the lashes are severe. I can't help but to blame myself when I
see those scars.

"Lagot ka Bill! Nagising tuloy!"biglang asik ni Rage. Gising na nga si Soul. He was looking at us intently. I smiled at him.

"Ha? Wala akong ginawa oy!" despensa niya. Binatukan naman siya ni Renzo at may binulong. Mas lalo lang siyang naguluhan dahil doon.

"Tara na nga! Mukhang okay naman silang dalawa. Labas na muna tayo! Mag tour tayo sa hospital na ito." Pahayag ni P. I waved at them and got up from my bed. I don't have any dextrose attached but Souls has one. I sat beside him. His face was still dark and gloomy. Ang grumpy talaga ng lalaking ito.

"Auee left. if you're wondering. He left me a letter and I respect his decisions. He said he'll help us if we're in need." I shrugged. He still looked bothered. I frowned.

"Are you mad?" I asked him. He looked away and ignored me.

"Your goal is now done."

"Yeah, I didn't expect it to be done this way though but things wen---"

"Let's get married." He said looking at me with his mesmerizing eyes. I was out of words and looked at him in disbelief. He pulled me closer to him and claimed my lips.

Pulling me closer to him and nipping my lower lip. He inserted his tongue and skillfully circled it with my tongue. He drives me crazy, again. I let him lick my lips and his kiss trailed down to my neck. His hands travelled inside my hospital gown when he pulled the tie earlier. He circled his thumbs on my nipples and I moaned.

"Ahh!" I moaned. Napailing ako. What if somebody sees us doing this stuff? Sa hospital pa talaga? I heard him chuckle and he stopped kissing me. He withdrew his hands and tied my hospital gown. He looked at me and kissed my forehead.

"Let's do this when we get home. Aight?" He said embracing me beside him. I laid beside him and nodded. I sniffed his neck and kissed it. Tumagilid siya para mas mayakap ako. Embracing me like he doesn't want to let me go.

"Why don't we go home now?" I asked him. He chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Silly, I'll not recover if that's the case." I laughed with him.

"Recover fast! I'm going to marry you in a week." napakunot ang noo niya.

"What? you don't want it?"

"Fuck baby, I dreamed for that. But I think our wedding should be grand. I want you to have the best wedding." He said huskily. I sighed.

"Being with you is the best." He stopped and stared at me in disbelief. He seemed delighted.

"Damn! if that's what you want then. I love you, Arthria." He kissed me again. I'm drunk with his kisses. I smiled and answered him. "You know I realized this too late. I know all the things you did for me. You have protected and watched me from afar." My heart is beating too fast. I blushed when he looked at me with his eyes.

"I-I love you too." I said, digging my face to his chest. I can hear his fast heartbeat. but he got up and looked at me with happiness. He kissed me passionately.

"Damn! let's get married now!"
