Previously on The Eye Witness,

The news reporter was talking about the man from yesterday, near her diner. Now, she had Caroline's complete attention. She was so busy watching the news that she did not notice someone behind her until they placed their hand on her shoulder, making her jump.

Caroline's heart skipped a beat or two. She heard a laugh behind her. Her shoulders relaxed when she realized that it was just Mrs Booth. Mrs Booth asked her why she was jumpy. Caroline brushed off her question and started watching the news again.

"A famous billionaire- Mr Seeley Hodgins has gone missing. It has been 48 hours when he was last seen leaving his office in a hurry," the lady reported. At the corner of the screen, they displayed a photo of the man. Caroline recognized him from yesterday.

Caroline wanted to be alone right now. She asked Mrs Booth if she could leave. Mrs Booth gave her a go-ahead and her dinner in tiffin. Caroline had told Mrs. Booth that she lived alone. Hence, Mrs Booth. always gave her dinner.

Caroline thanked her and rushed out of the house leaving Mrs Booth a little surprised because this wasn't Caroline's usual behaviour.

Caroline reached at her house around 21:00. Caroline turned her laptop on while reheating her dinner. Caroline searched about Seeley Hodgins on the internet. She found the same information that was given by the news reporter, nothing new. Caroline debated going to the police station to give the tip. But she couldn't risk getting into the foster care system. She still had 2 months left until her eighteenth birthday. After thinking a lot, she decided to give an anonymous call. Feeling pleased with her decision she fell asleep.
