Broken- a Kylo Ren fanfiction

2.

Kylo Ren's POV:
I walked into the hologram room on Starkiller Base to see a 30 or 70 feet tall hologram of Supreme Leader Snoke. He then spoke in his low, menacing tone.

"Ren. Go to Lothal and take the other knights of Ren with you. There is someone there with part of the map to Skywalker. Retrieve it and kill anyone who stands in your way."

"It will be done Supreme Leader."

I walk out of the hologram room to go gather the knights of Ren. Skywalker. I can finally find him and kill him. I originally thought I had killed him when I attacked the temple. I will kill him this time. When I came out they were there leaning against the wall of the hallway readying their weapons. When they saw me followed me down the hallway. As I was walking I heard a voice behind me.

"So. We're getting an interesting mission for a change."

"Shut it Vicrul." I replied angrily.

Whenever they do talk they're annoying. I kept walking instead of dealing with him because at this moment I want to get to the planet so I can find Skywalker and kill him sooner. We flew down to Lothal in silence as usual. When we landed there Cardo broke the silence.

"Ren, the location of the target is 4 miles east of here."

"Good. Let's go." Our ship changed course towards the east getting me closer and closer to Skywalker. We landed right outside of a settlement where the map supposedly was. The location was mostly a prairie and had crops in it. There were only about 20 buildings there. The map wouldn't be hard to find. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something moving in the distance. I didn't think much of it I was too preoccupied to care. I had to find Skywalker. Me and the knights of Ren gathered the residents in the center of their little settlement. Only one exit. Good. I need to find Skywalker. I addressed the crowd of people.

"One of you has a map to Luke Skywalker. Whoever has the map or knows where it is speak up now or we will start killing each of you one by one."

Silence.

"Well I guess we will have to start killing."

Them I heard a voice.

"Please don't!"

An old man walked up to me. He had receding grey hair and had a crudely cut beard.

"Do you have the map?" I asked the old man.

"No but I know who does. His name is Lor San Tekka." The old man replied with much fear in his voice.

"Where is Lor San Tekka?" I demanded. My helmet makes me have a robotic voice so I sound even more menacing.

"He- He's on Jakku. We saw you coming. He flew away when you got here." The old man said shakily.

"Let's kill them." Kuruk said

The other knights of Ren readied their weapons then I ignited my lightsaber. The settlers screamed in fear as we started massacring them. As I was about to strike a deadly blow to a child I hesitated. What was I doing? He is an innocent child. Shut up it's the Jedi training talking not you! I told myself. Trudgen saw my hesitation and came over and cut the child's head off.

"Keep up Ren!" Trudgen shouted as he decapitated 5 settlers at the same time.

I went back to killing. If I didn't Trudgen would probably end up decapitating me too. I was stabbing and slashing people with my lightsaber. A few minutes later everyone of them was dead.

"Let's burn the buildings to the ground. We have no use of them." Ap'lek said.

After we burned the buildings we went back to the ship to go back to Starkiller Base. Then we received a transmission from Supreme Leader Snoke telling us to go to his starship. That's never good. When we got aboard Supreme Leader Snoke's starship we immediately went straight to his throne room. When we got there he was waiting for us. In the Hologram room he is 30-70 feet tall. In reality he is only 7 feet tall.

"Leave me and Ren." Supreme Leader Snoke told the rest of the knights of Ren waving his hand towards the door.

I knelt in front of Supreme Leader Snoke when the others left.

"Did you get the map to Skywalker?" He asked in his menacing voice.

"No but I know where to find it." I replied.

"Where?" Snoke asked his frustration visibly growing.

"Jakku."

"We will talk about that later. This is about the mission."

"What about it?" I asked. I had a feeling it was about the massacre.

"Ren, only the strong can survive. I sensed in you raw power when I took you as my apprentice. I can see into your mind. You are conflicted. Torn between the dark and the light. You hesitated in killing the settlers. Love, compassion, kindness. Things of the WEAK! It will make you vulnerable. It will make you weak. You were weak!...You will get another chance to prove yourself soon enough."

"It will not happen again, Supreme Leader."

I left Supreme Leader Snoke's throne room. The knights of Ren were waiting outside. We walked back down the corridors towards our ship. We boarded our ship and went back to Starkiller Base.
I will find Luke Skywalker.

A/N:
Whew second chapter done. 50+ more to go. 🥵 This has the knights of Ren in it a lot because they are just really underused in the sequel trilogy so I wanted to include them here. This is the longest chapter I've ever written in my life! 1000 words exactly! That's like twice the length of what I usually write! Usually I write 500 words! Kind of shows you what I write about best. 😉 This took me hours to write. It was fun. And as always, may the force be with you.
