Act 3: Fights and Fun

Claire's P.O.V.

"Though the night is dark and the wind is cold, the warmth of my heart stays strong," Serenity said after reading the script for some play Ahsoka wrote.

"The scars I wear are not the scars of pain, but the path to joy!" Larry exclaimed.

"Oh, how long must we walk this path without love in our lives?" Destiny asked with pleading eyes. So this is acting...

I felt a hand grab my wrist and I instantly wrenched my hand away.

"UNHAND ME!" I turned and saw Max covering his ears with one hand and wringing his hand because it was in pain. "Sorry. Too loud?"

"Too Neolian," he said, a smile growing on his face upon me asking.

"Stop." I walked out of the room to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"I'm with Claire on this," I overheard Aera say. "This play is pretty stupid."

"Aera, you know that's not what she meant," Jersey said.

"Well we all know she was thinking it."

"AERA!"

"People, please!" Max yelled. "Claire's probably had a rough time being queen. It's not our place to be discussing her like this. We don't know what she's been through or what has changed in her life since we last saw her on Earth."

Thanks, Max... but you don't have to defend me and my life like that... I'm just gonna go for now...

The next day, Serenity's P.O.V.

"I'm off. Bye girls!" I said as I left the house, like how Max and the others did earlier.

"WAIT!" I saw the little girl with white hair catch the door. "I wanna come too!"

"What? Why?"

"Mama told me that I will get really smart and grow up if I go to school, so I want to listen in on your class!" she exclaimed.

"You'll have to listen through the open windows, but I guess you could come along."

"YAY!"

"Take care of Destiny, Ahsoka!" I told the remaining one at the house.

"Understood, captain!"

Captain... I like that.

"So... uhm..." I tried to start a conversation while we walked.

"What's your name?"

"I'm Serenity."

"That's my name too!"

"Wow! That's amazing!"

"Yeah... Mama really liked that name. She told me she knew my name before I was born."

"That's nice."

Ahsoka's P.O.V.

"Let's go outside!" Destiny begged me.

"But Destiny-"

"I know of the dangers! I just want you to have some fun with your life that you can remember!"

"Wha- how did you know that I didn't remember half of my life?"

"Uh..."

"Destiny... you're not an ordinary girl, are you?"

"Gotta go!" She then ran for the door.

"Wait!" I grabbed my coat and boots and then ran after her as she darted outside. "We're not supposed to be outside!"
