~~ Liam's POV ~~

As I walked into suite 613, my roommate and close friend, Joe Walker, was passed out on his desk. I swiftly kicked the back of the chair, and woke him up.

"What? What happened?" Joe asked groggily.

"Good morning, sunshine!" I smiled and batted my eyes. "Did you sleep well, sweetheart?"

Joe shoved me away, "Personal space, man." He got up from his desk and jumped on to his bed. "What time is it, anyway?"

"It's about quarter past 8. Why?"

"Still early. I don't know why I'm so tired," Joe said as he checked his phone for new messages. "Where were you?" He asked, accusingly.

"Just working on a short script assignment with a girl from class. Neither of us had eaten, so we grabbed dinner quick on our way back. And now, here I am," I sat down at my desk, and began eating my dinner.

"Girl from class? Is she cute?" Joe was suddenly interested.

"Very cute. And quirky... but not in an obnoxious way. She's funny, and she's got some pretty interesting ideas for our project. She's definitely caught my attention," I said thoughtfully.

~~ Nico's POV ~~

I sat on my bed reading War and Peace when I heard a knock at my door. I jumped down off the bed, and walked across the room to the door, where I could hear two distinct voices on the other side, arguing about whether or not 603 was the right room. Two boys wearing nothing but gym shorts stood in my doorway.

"Darren, Brian! What's going on man?"

"Hey, Nico, what's up? Is Joey here?" Darren asked. "I've got his phone, he left it in our room."

I looked back, but didn't see my roommate anywhere. "No, man, sorry. Do you want me to grab that for him?"

"Sure, yeah! Hey, a couple people are coming up to our suite this weekend, just hanging out. You in?" Brian asked.

"When?"

"Ahh, Friday night?" Darren said, looking over at Brian for confirmation. "Yeah, Friday."

"Damn," I shook my head. "I don't know if I'll make it. If I do, am I allowed a +1?"

"I don't see why not! The more the merrier. Who's the lucky girl?" Darren winked.

I didn't appreciate the gesture, "I think she's a new girl. I met her in class today. Smart, funny, seems nice enough."

"She cute?" Brian asked.

"Eh. She's not like supermodel hot, but she's not a troll, either."

"Well, whoever she is, she's more than welcome. Make sure you let Joey know," Brian said. "See you tomorrow, man."

"I'll pass the word along. See yah," I closed the door behind me and went back to reading my book. It was hard to focus, though. Sarah crept into my thoughts, and I couldn't remember exactly what she looked like. I was anxious about Friday; I wasn't worried about trying to impress her, or nervous about saying the wrong thing. I just didn't want her to embarrass me in front of my friends.

"That could be devastating to your reputation, bud," I thought aloud to myself, and buried my nose back in my book.
