~~ Liam's POV ~~

I don't know whether she snuggled up against me because she was really into the kiss, or because she was really cold, but either way I was glad that she did. I hugged her in close and she nuzzled her head against my chest. I kissed the top of her head, and we stood there as the snow continued to fall.

-THANKSGIVING DAY-

~~ Sarah's POV ~~

Liam picked me up in the late morning, around 10:30. We decided to go and watch his old high school football team's Thanksgiving game. He introduced me to a few of his old friends, most likely the people he assumed he would always stay close with, and then they drifted apart as soon as they started college. His old school won, and it was great to see everyone's faces lit up in excitement.

We arrived at the White family home not long after leaving the game; we sat in the car for a minute before going into the house.

Liam looked at at me before we got out of the car, "There's... something I should probably tell you."

I smiled, "Okay, what's up?"

"Well, when I called a few days ago, my mother asked whether or not we were dating. I'm sure she would have let you come anyways, but in a last-minute panic, I sort of told her that we were..."

I smiled, and laughed a little, "You make it sound like what you did was wrong."

He was confused. "Wasn't I...? I mean, I thought you and Nico were sort of a thing."

I paused a moment before answering, "He's a sweet guy, but I just feel like you and I sort of make sense. Don't you think that? I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to try and influence you one way or another. I just thought that it was a mutual feeling."

"It is! I mean," Liam answered excitedly, but took it down a level when he realized how quickly he had answered. "I do... like you, very much. I just didn't know that you felt the same as I did. I mean, I figured that you liked me a little bit, but I wasn't sure how much, or where we were at."

I giggled, and I leaned across the center console and kissed him. "I like you a lot, too."

We kissed again. Liam took my hand, and kissed it. "So, does this make... I mean, would you-"

"Yes, I would. And yes, it does," I smiled as I could tell what he was trying to say. He was so cute.

We entered the house, and I was introduced to his family. I met his mother and his father, both his grandmothers, and his only living grandfather; I met his aunts and uncles, and his younger cousins, as well. Everyone was very welcoming, and very friendly. Well, everyone with the exception of one of his younger female cousins, Rachel, who didn't seem too fond of me.

I was sat down at the end of the couch, and Rachel sat across from me on the floor; she couldn't have been older than fifteen, or sixteen. She stared at me, intimidatingly, and she was making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I decided to try and make small talk with her, but she spoke before I had the chance to say anything.

"So," she crossed her arms, "how old are you anyway?"

"Uhm, well I'm nineteen," I started.

"Nineteen? Don't you think that's a little young for Liam?"

"Not particularly, no. He's only a year older than me, so it's not like he's that much older," I smiled warmly.

"How did you guys meet?"

"We were partners on a project together, and now we'll be taking our project to the next level," I said, and took a sip from my drink.

"And do you plan to take your relationship to the next level?"
