Part 16

Natasha practically jumped onto Steve and started kissing him passionately. Once she was out of breath she pulled away and looked into his deep blue eyes. "I wanna give us another try" she whispered against his lips. "Really?!" Steve asked loudly surprise evident in his voice. Nat could only nod before Steve was attacking her lips with his. Steve carried her to the bedroom where they made love until the early hours of the day. They were both woken up by Nat's alarm. "Good morning sweetheart" Steve said kissing her lips. "Good morning lover boy" Nat said kissing him.
"What time is it?" Steve asked. "7:30 a.m. I have to drop the kids off at school in an hour" she answered. "No we have to drop the kids off at school in an hour" he said picking her up and leading her to the showers. "Steve we don't have time for this" Nat said as he opened the water. "It's only a shower and if I did my math right I'm pretty sure taking a shower at the same time takes a shorter amount of time than separately. Nat knew it wasn't just a shower but didn't wanna argue.
Let's just say Nat was right and they ended up taking longer in the shower than expected. Nat quickly dressed and went downstairs to prepare breakfast while Steve dressed in his clothes that were in her closet for some reason and woke up his kids after their shower. They had to eat breakfast extra fast if they did not want to be late for school. Nat was driving because she said "Steve you drive like a grandpa" and it was true. James suddenly asked "Who is going to pick us up mommy?" Steve answered for Nat saying "Me and mommy will pick you guys up bud." James and Sarah simultaneously yelled a "YAY!" causing both parents to smile.
It was just like before their parents started fighting they would eat breakfast together, they would drop them off at school, pick them up, spend the day together, and then they would tuck them in at night. James wished it was like that again for the rest of his life. But will James wish come true?
