<<<<<<<•>>>>>>>After a well rested night, Minjoo was sent back to the construction site to continue to help the relief team in saving the last remaining workers that were still trapped. Before she left, she'd asked Shijin about Manager Go and what had happened to him. The girl had initially forgotten about the old man as her mind was running a mile a minute and she was too busy to think about anything else than what she was doing. But when she had woken up the next morning and was getting dressed, she remembered him.
When Minjoo had found Shijin, she'd asked him if he knew what had happened to Manager Go. Unfortunately, Shijin had replied with a sad smile and an answer that Minjoo really didn't want to be true. The older male had gone to ask if Minjoo was okay but was shut down when the girl had quickly left, saying that she had some things to do before she left.
It was clear to anyone that knew her that the girl was upset. Even though she didn't say much and her face was void of emotion, the girl had tells. Like when she balled her fists when she was mad, bit her lip and gums when she was nervous and how she avoided eye contact and talking when she was upset.
For the past eight months Manager Go had almost been like a father figure to the girl, whenever the two were in the same room they would speak for hours if you let them, neither getting bored or tired of the others company. He'd always make sure she was well rested and fed and would always sneak some of his food onto her plate. After the falling out she had with her own father, Minjoo was glad to have that type of relationship again.
At present time, Minjoo found herself crawling through the debris of the fallen building, heading in through the basement to find the last remaining survivors. As she went in a few of the medical team followed behind her, Chihoon being right behind her as he almost perfectly following her steps as to not disturb the debris anymore then they already had.
As the group continued they came across a fork in the path. As the rest of the soldiers went forward, continuing straight and down the right path, Minjoo stayed behind flashing her torch down the left dark tunnel. The path laid untouched and it was big enough for her to fit through so Minjoo decided to go down it, stepping over large blocks of concrete as she did so. As she went further down the debris constructed tunnel, Minjoo heard footsteps behind her, making loud noises as their shoes hit concrete. Turning around, Minjoo saw that Chihoon had followed her, his flashlight roaming across the walls around them.
"You're following me?" She questioned as she looked over her shoulder slightly as she continued to walk, having to step over and dodge large pieces of rubble and concrete.
"I wasn't going to let you go alone. That's how you get hurt." Chihoon said as he followed the girl, occasionally looking at his surroundings.
"That's sweet." Minjoo chuckled lightly. "You care about me." She said as she turned side ways so she could slide through a piece of debris, turning around to help Chihoon get through.
"Of course I do. You're my friend." Chihoon smiled as he took Minjoo's hand to help pull himself through the small opening.
Minjoo smiled to herself when she turned that. As the two continued, they managed to find a part of the building that was undamaged, some of the the railings and walkways were still standing and keeping up the building. As Minjoo was about to walk across one of the walkways to check out the sturdiness, one of the dangling lights sparked with electricity. As it sparked Chihoon reached forward and grabbed onto the end of Minjoo's jacket, pulling her back into him and out of the way of the sparks.
