<<<<<<<•>>>>>>>Minjoo rarely found herself going into the town that was near the Taebaek Base. She didn't need to go into town to buy anything, or to use the Internet Cafe, so she didn't see the point in taking the almost hour long trip to go for nothing. But that morning, Minjoo had wanted hot chocolate, it was something that the girl drank regularly because she didn't like coffee. So when she had walked into the dining hall in search for some hot chocolate and came up empty handed, also coming up empty handed when she look in the foods storage room, Minjoo had decided that she'd go into town for some.
Walking down one of the cobblestone streets, Minjoo had her hot chocolate in one hand and a plastic bag full of donuts in the other. She had seen that the cafe she went into had donuts, and she thought that it would be a nice surprise to bring some back for everyone as the Base. If anyone was to ask the price of said donuts, she'd just laugh and walk away, knowing that her Unit would throw a fit if they knew the price. She'd also decided to head into one of the stores and buy some hot chocolate sachets, hoping that would last until another shipment of supplies came in. Turning the corner, she recognised two people standing on the street, Shijin and Moyeon.
Crossing the road, she walked up to Shijin who was watching Moyeon walk off in the direction that Minjoo had just come from. "Hey." She said from behind Shijin, making him jump slightly before he turned around.
"What are you doing here?" He asked sternly, almost protectively as he glanced at something behind Minjoo, his scowl deepening as he did.
"The Base was out of hot chocolate." She smiled, holding up her cup for emphasis. Seeing the cold look on Shijin's face, her smile dropped. "Why?"
"You see those men behind you?" He asked, Minjoo turning her head slightly to see the two men behind her, both looking over at the two soldiers. "One of them was a supposed UN Worker."
"From the truck crash?" Minjoo asked looking at Shijin, receiving a nod from the male. "I thought he was arrested?"
"He was." Shijin said, taking the hot chocolate and bag of food from Minjoo, placing it down on the flower beds ledge. "We're going to have a conversation with them." He nodded to the girl, moving around her to walk up to the two.
"I'm going to regret this." Minjoo sighed as she walked after her Captain, placing her hand on her holstered gun when she saw Shijin take his out.
As Shijin got in front of the two men, he aimed his gun at the man in a dark hoodie. "I think we've met before, huh?" He asked, his head turning to the side in question.
"You don't seem very surprised." The man said, his eyes flickering between Shijin and Minjoo. "How is a peacekeeper threatening an unarmed civilian with his gun?" He questioned mockingly.
"I must not be one." Shijin said, pointing his gun more firmly at the males head, which made the man shrink back. Quickly, Shijin moved his guns line of fire to the car next to them, firing at its tyre. As the gun fired, both men flinched, each dropping their beers to the ground and pulling out their own guns, both being pointed at Shijin.
As they did, Minjoo reached for her gun and removed it from its holster, pointing it at the man in the grey shirt. "Now the civilian is not unarmed." Shijin said, raising his gun to the man in the hoodie.
