The buzz from the goblet wore off when Sophie realized she was going to be late for Snape's lesson.
She pecked Harry on the cheek and said, "Bye! I'll catch up with you tomorrow morning!"
Sophie dashed down the hall and ran to the dungeon. By the time she had reached the weathered door, Snape had just opened it and looked at her, frowning.
"Come in, Miss Foster"
Sophie panted and stepped into the room. It reminded her of her old classes. Snape's chair stood in the middle of the rooms and he gestured for her to sit down.
Snape began to speak, "I have taken time out of my day to read up on you elves and your abilities. You will learn to control your emotions or you will be expelled. Is that clear?"
Sophie nodded and mentally prepared herself for whatever he had planned.
Snape raised his wand and muttered a spell under his breath. Sophie gasped and memories flashed through her brain, being tortured by Fintan, Kenric's death, the ability restrictor, everything bad that had happened over the years. Snape stopped and for a moment he looked sorry for Sophie.
"We'll try another emotion"
Sophie grinned, she had freaked out Snape. He raised his wand to her again, but this time it was memories of betrayal, Fitz yelling at her, so much anger. Sophie felt the power rise in her and she grunted under the effort to shove it down. Sophie realized seconds before that she couldn't.
"Run!" She yelled, but it was too late.
Her anger was released and Snape fell that he ground. Sophie stopped immediately and ran over to him. He grunted and sat up.
"No more lessons for today Miss Foster. I will inform Dumbledore about your....... progress"
Sophie knew he might get her expelled, but she left anyway. Something was wrong with her abilities. And she was going to have to talk to her friends to find out.
