Rouge Eyes

Part 16

Perry turned around startled, as Mark pulled over and the 2 boys took out their guns and pointed it at Sohyul. Perry yelled in fear.  "Sohyul! Watch what your doing! That's your soulmate!"

Sohyul glared at her. "But I'm scared!!" She cried out.

Aiden sighed. "Seriously, why would you shoot your soulmate? Just do me a favor and put the gun down." Sohyul shook her head, tears streaming down.

"I need to kill you..." She said, looking straight at Yohan, but he just held the gun and covered the muzzle with his hand. "Put your guns down." Yohan glared at the two, then he asked Sohyul "Why?" Before Sohyul could give an answer. Perry interfered, she said "Sohyul just put the gun down and you can talk it out later." Sohyul hesitantly put her gun down and scooted away from Yohan, to which Yohan was wondering why she was so afraid of him.

Once they got to Sohyul's house, they all went inside. But Sohyul instead walked straight to her room.

Perry: Sohyul! Stay here!

Sohyul looked up from the stairs, and looked straight into Yohan's eyes. She gulped, feeling uneasy and walked back down, only to be pulled to the backyard by Yohan.

Sohyul: Let me go!

Sohyul removed his hands from hers and hesitated before touching her neck again. Yohan rolled his eyes.

Yohan: Stop touching it! There's nothing there!

Sohyul looked down, feeling tears form in her eyes. She was guilty for trying to kill him. She yelled in frustration "I KNOW! But it feels so surreal! How could the bond do that?!" Yohan shook his head, indicating that he didn't know. So, she yelled again "I don't want to talk to you!" She tried to walk back in but he grabbed her arm and turned her around to face him. Her face now full of tears.

Yohan: What are you so afraid of that you tried to kill me?!

He finally let it out and she hunched over and punched herself. "I'm scared because you remind of my brother! And because I'm so quickly becoming attached to you! I don't want too!" Yohan made a sound of frustration and yelled at her. "BUT WE ARE ALREADY ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER...." He toned down his voice. "...whether you like it or not.. you know that so I can't understand why your so sc-"

He was going to continue but she cut him off. "I'm scared because I could've easily just saved myself! I could've shot their leader and dodged the other members bullets! But I didn't! you know why! because if I risked it, not only would I die but you might die with me feeling my pain! and I saw someone who had to experience losing their soulmate that way! I didn't want that to happen to us!" He was speechless as he continued to listen.

She kept punching herself.
"I DON'T WANT TO THINK THAT WAY! I DON'T WANT TO CARE ABOUT ANYONE THAT COULD JUST LEAVE ME! I want to think about myself and be selfish! To survive without caring about anything!"

Yohan held her hands and hugged her to stop her from hurting herself.

"Just breathe and calm down... why would you think like that? Don't worry about me... worry about yourself when you have too. I rather lose my soulmate knowing you were trying to save yourself..."

Sohyul looked up at him, and he suddenly felt a little guilt but he brushed it off because he wasn't supposed to feel guilty for her. Afterall, he was only making her fall in love with him and then killing her in the most painfulest way possible.

Sohyul: Your not scared of me?

Yohan shook his head and smiled at her, why would he be scared of someone he was going to kill? Sohyul nodded and hugged him back. Both staying that way in silence.
