Rouge Eyes

Part 26

"Get that gun away from me. I won't be telling you anything."

Sohyul glared at her, the sister of the gang leader she threw into the lake last night. Sohyul was sure to find out, the sister was actually a celebrity.

Sohyul: Then I'll just end your career here.

Sohyul cocked her gun to scare her.

Sohyul: I'm sure your sister would love your company.

The girl yelled "Your just sick! A psycho! You killed my sister!"

Sohyul: And you all are sicker. You all know who killed my family but decide to stay quiet!

The girl chuckled.

"Your that oblivious aren't you?"

Sohyul pulled her hair down and the girl just smiled up at her.

"You better watch out. Everyone knows your time to leave is coming soon. So that justice for your family you've been working for? That's all for nothing."

Sohyul became more angrier and when she was about to shoot her, Jin and a bunch of others showed up infront of her, holding their guns. She felt betrayed, she was in disbelief. How could they do this to her?

Jin: Sohyul. Put the gun down, and put your hands up, or we'll have to shoot you.

Jin gulped and Sohyul took her hands off of the girl. She immediately ran away, as Sohyul down her gun down and held her hands up.

Perry, Jin, and the rest of the team then lowered their guns as one person came forward to take Sohyul's gun and tossed it to Jin. The person then proceeded to take off his mask, along with the others who she thought were police. Sohyul's mouth fell agape and Yohan said "I won't report you, but the next time I will. As someone following the law I should." Yohan threw the mask on the floor, and walked away. Mark and Aiden followed him, while Perry and Jin went to Sohyul.

Perry: What were you thinking?! Trying to kill someone in this area! There are CCTVs everywhere! Luckily we followed you and you didn't kill her! Why are you becoming so careless?!

Jin agreed with her and Sohyul glared at them, dead in the eyes.

Sohyul: You both just stopped me from getting important information.

Jin: We were saving you from going to jail and getting kicked out of school.

Sohyul narrowed her eyes at him, coldly she replied "I could care less about what happens to me. What I want, is for the person that killed my family to get what they deserve. Not some prison sentence but the same fate they gave my family!"

Perry: What if they're already gone?

Sohyul pushed Perry a little.

Sohyul: And you think they're all gone? I don't think so.

Perry gulped, knowing what she was capable of.

Sohyul: They're alive and I'm going to kill them just like what they did to my family.

Jin: Sohyul. Stop.

Sohyul pushed Perry to the floor and turned to him. "Stop getting in my way." Sohyul walked off.

Yohan: Let's talk.

Sohyul shook her hands out of his grasp.

Sohyul: I refuse. You said you wanted space! I'm giving you the space you want!

Yohan: Sohyul stop being so petty!

Sohyul: What do you want?

Yohan: To want to stay with you.. yesterday was just a stupid mistake...

Sohyul coldly replied "Why do you want to stay with me? Because your feeling weak?" Sohyul hugged him tight and let go. "Is that enough for you to feel better for tonight?" She didn't let him answer and said "I think it's a yes. Now go home, and leave me alone!"

Sohyul glared at him and ran into the gate, closing it. She took a deep breath and yelled in anger.  Before she got to the door a gunshot was heard, and Sohyul immediately ran back. She held her gun with no hesitation, and shot the person that shot Yohan. Sohyul bent down to hold him closely. Yohan struggled to speak, as he held his side where the gunshot was.

"Hey! Don't go yet! Just stay awake!" Sohyul screamed, while she gestured for one of the gang members on duty to help her bring Yohan inside.

"Thank you. You can go back." Sohyul coldly said and changed the look on her face almost immediately when she looked at Yohan lying on her bed. He clutched her arm and she grabbed his hands. "Please j-just wait a little longer... The doctor is coming soon.."

Yohan could only see a blur and felt as if he was dying, he got a rush of memory from the future because his body felt as though he was about to die. He saw himself die and he gulped, looking at the blurry figure of her holding his hands.

He said "S-sohyul, I love you so much." Sohyul shook her head.

"Don't say that! Stop saying it like it's going to be the last time!"

Yohan's teeth began to chatter as he wanted to tell her the truth before he died, but it just wouldn't come out of his mouth. He closed his eyes and the doctor finally came. By morning, Yohan woke up to Sohyul not by his side. He stood up and cautiously walked to the living room. He frowned, seeing Sohyul asleep in a criss-cross position with her head lying back. It looked uncomfortable.

"Sohyul..." Yohan called out and she opened her eyes, she smiled at him and then frowned remembering what had happened before the whole incident. She was still mad and nothing could change that, though she was relieved he looked as great as ever.

"I think your fully healed, you can go home." Sohyul said without looking at him.

"Sohyul, please just forgive me.." Yohan pleaded and she rolled her eyes at him.

"I'm glad your okay, but your words... I can't get them out of my head. You should just leave.."

In hesitation, he took in her words and just nodded, walking out the door to go home.
