Another day of school. It was almost the end of lunch and I needed to retrieve some books for my next lesson, life skills. I walked into the corridors packed with people keeping my head low as I knew me being back was a big surprise, I mean I just got up and left one day and never returned, the week after that everybody knew. I was getting letters some sweet some not so sweet. But that's the world for you.

"Ay curly head" I was pushed against the wall

My vision blurred at the sudden movement for a second before I turned around to find nelly and her side chicks Jessica and Tamron, I'd had a few run ins a couple times even outside of school.

"Look who's back" she laughed crossing her arms

"Just fuck off" I sighed not wanting this shit

"Who you talking to big girl" she began getting in my face

"Who you damn think bitch" I spat back

"Good thing I got to fuck your brother before he went and left yo ass" she knew how to get to me

"Don't damn talk about ky" my voice didn't crack luckily

"What you gonna do. Everybody knows your hiding something." She continued

"I got nothing to hide nelly" I stood strong

"Your probably the reason ky's damn gone, it's your fault" she crossed the line

I was gone. I punched Her straight in the jaw causing her to drop, I kicked through punches while having a load of people crowd round me, while hot tears streamed down my face, it was hot and I swear the room began to turn. I saw blood come out he nose before I was pulled off her, it was mr August. Of course. He dragged me to a empty class room. He didn't damn leg go of my arms. As soon as he locked the door he gave in causing me to go free.

"What was that !?" He raised his voice

"Giving a bitch what she damn deserves" I looked away my voice stern

"Ay kid mind yo damn language" he kissed his teeth

"Ay sir remember your damn age" I shot back

"Just calm down" he came closer to me

"I don't wanna calm the fuck down" I got up

He held me back again and I was on rage mode, I didn't like playing. If I was gonna fuck someone up I was gonna do it right and complete.

"Diamond what did she do!" He slammed me against the wall

"Why do you care" I said emotionless

"Everybody has their problems and issues alright ? sometimes we hide our feelings and get insecure but that's cause we're normal people, it's okay not to be okay" he said quietly in one go wide eyed

His grip softened and I felt his words they went straight to my heart I swear they did. But i retracted them quickly when I remembered. Everybody leaves.

"I'm aware of your situation ma, I can help you" he stared into my eyes

"You don't fucking know me" I nudged past him walking out a school

My body was red hot still but I didn't give a damn. I spotted nelly in the principles office but took no notice. I just wanted to get out fast. People came up to me but I shook em off. Even Mr August was coming after me, until I got outside and spotted Tyler, he came in every Wednesday to check on how I was doing. The first Wednesday obviously wouldn't be that good. He spotted me and had a confused expression on my face before i burst out crying into his arms, he just held me tight and that's all I needed right now. I spotted Mr August stop walking and turn around from the corner of my eye but I didn't damn care. I just wanted to go home.
