Diamond

It was the first day back and my day had already been shit. The rain caused my hair to frizz and my jeans were wet as hell. I walked in the bathroom with talia before sporting the bitch nelly. I took no notice, I began ringing the water out of my hair when one of her side bitches started.

"Oh look nelly it's Mr Augusts little bitch" she smirked

"You high or some shit" talia kissed her teeth

"We all knew you two fucking in the janitors closet or something" nelly began

"What you been smoking nelly ?" I laughed

"What, you think I don't damn know ? I know everything little bitch" she spat

"Why don't I whip yo ass, oh wait i already damn have" I smiled

She kept quiet before walking out with her side hoes. I finished re doing my makeup before the bell went. Life skills. I didn't know how my mind would react. I walked spotting Chres before sitting in my usual seat and to my surprise the whole lesson he didn't look at me once, it sent an uneasy feeling. The bell went and soon the students poured out. He focused on papers from his desk before I approached him.

"Chresanto-" I began

"It's Mr August" he gazed at me for a split second

"M-mr August, I think I left m-my watch at your house" I stuttered

"Right, I'll bring it in tomorrow" he nodded blank

I swear in that moment my heart broke just a little. I walked out the class quickly not wanting him to realise what a second could do. I was confused at that moment and I didn't understand why. I'd spent the whole fucking day with him Friday acting like a damn ass couple and now he can't even look at me ?

"You alright boo ?" Noah put her hand on my shoulder

"Y-yeah" I shrugged

I blinked multiple times pushing my emotions down until I was basically antisocial for the rest of the damn day. I walked out of school by myself when I got a text. It was from my dad saying he wasn't able to pick ruby up. I rolled my eyes before changing direction towards her school. I got there within 5 minutes and her smile lit up when she saw me. She ran over to me and hugged my leg.

"Hey baby" I faked a smile

"Hey diamond" she looked up at me smiling

I held her hand as we walked home in silence. All these months id thought i could just abour understand chresanto. I was wrong totally. I opened the front door to find the detective doing kylo's case here once again.

"Diamond what's wrong ?" My mother appeared setting down tea

" I liked this boy mama" I saw her face light up

"And he was full of bullshit" I shook my head

"Language" she shook her head

"Can I speak to diamond alone about our intentions in the case" the officer broke his silence

"Sure" my mom smiled

She walked out going into the bedroom with ruby before I sat opposite the detective curious at what he had to say.

"Stay away from chresanto" he caught me by surprise

"How the fuck you know Chres ?" My eyebrows furrowed

"He's my younger brother" he raised an eyebrow

"Fine I'll stay away" I shook my head

"It's for the best alright ?" He sighed
