"So let me get this straight he said how is that feeling in your back " Mari said hiding a snicker.

"Bloody hell this is what got your panties in a twist " Carol laughed.

Come on you guys he was all weird and perverted and he's my boss for crying out loud.

"Alright alright I'll go down there and whoop his arse myself but I don't see the point not like this hasn't happened before " Carol pouted.

No no that's not necessary I'll just pretend it never happened but do you really think you would even get that close to him" I chuckled.

"Hey I could have" she laughed

Today was a gorgeous day everything seem fine that's until I go to work.

As soon as I make it to Mr Hales' office I was greeted by a series of yelling.

Apparently the Guyanese oil company wanted to back out.

And Mr Hale had no way to convince them to stay , so he took his anger out on his office.

Breaking everything in his path from tables to the god damn coffee machine .

And in that moment I had no idea what to do, should I leave or just....

I decided to go and give him some time to calm down .

I was walking down the hall to my new office.

I was giddy waiting to see what it looked like.

When I heard "Let's just leave this deal it's wack he has majority financial control. " The voice was familiar .

It was one of Guyana's representative. What I was about to do next was either really stupid or really brave.

"Excuse, but this is the best deal you're going to get let me explain" I said in cofidence.

"First of all you're just coming into this business which means that your country cannot afford the materials needed to drill for oil."

Which means that our company will be at expense to get your materials which will cost about 2 billion to start.

You are getting a 60% to 30% which is better than any thing else" I ended

I couldn't read there faces I hope i didn't spoil everything.

That was a mouthful hopefully I don't lose my job though they did seem in a better mood after my little breakdown.

Finally in my new office I let out a breathe of relief.

It was big like big big like size of half my apartment big.

It was painted in a nutral grey and white which was actually pretty in its own goth way.

There was a custom wooden desk in the middle of the room next to a huge window with an awesome view.

Perks of being on the top floor I guess.
The desk was filled with all types of artistic materials .

It even had a toilet that looked like it belonged to a hotel.

I got comfortable and I had a light days work since Mr Hale canceled everything for today.

The day was almost over when a call came conforming the deal with the Guyanese.

Weird that it wasn't directed to Mr Hales office.

I got up to take the good news to Mr Hale.

The project he's been beating himself up about came through I wonder what happened .

I opened his office door to a highly intoxicated boss.

Empty bottles filled the ground and a half filled one in his hands .

I dropped my purse and rushed over to him and took the bottle away .

"Jesus Paxton how much have you had to drink." I blurted out his name he probably wouldn't even remember.

Thankfully he was still consious ahm...er what do I do.

I don't know where he lives and I obviously can't make it to the bottom floor in this state.

"I'm sorry paige I was rude to you yesterday forgive me pretty please with a cherry on top." He pouted.

"Sure" I mentally giggled big bad alpha was acting like a child but then again I couldn't blame him.

"Take me home pleaseeee" he pleaded.

"Okay Paxton where do you live" I asked hopefully it wasn't far.

"Whoo mee I live on the top floor in a pretty penthouse " he said giddy.

"Thank you" I whispered I didn't even know there was another floor.

Alright up up let's go he staggered a bit before finally he was up.

It took a while before we even made to the elvator.

And boy oh boy was this penthouse gorgeous and huge .

But there's was no time for admiring because Paxton was falling asleep in my arms.

It took me 10 minutes to find a bedroom damn it this place is like maze.

"Yay bed bed" Paxton laughed and jumped on to the bed .

I took off his shoes and placed them at the end of the bed.

It was 8:00 already shoot I missed my bus.

I was on my way out when Paxton argued with me to stay.

I couldn't possibly stay in the bed with him .

But leaving now was probably a bad idea anyway. It was already dark out.

With a heavy sigh I gave in to his offer.

I took a pillow and some sheets and took the couch that was suprisingly comfy.

I watched him sing nursery rhymes until he fell asleep.

Not long after sleep took over my body and I gave in.

I was on my 3rd bottle of tequila this deal was my one shot to avoid my father's idea of me getting married.

I know this shouldn't bother me but I just can't handle another chick thinking she is the right one.

Not now that I actually possibly found the girl of my dreams.

My mind eased at the thought of paige I hadn't seen her today.

But I remember every detail about her from her curves to her favorite perfume.

Those thoughts were gone in an instant as my mind drifted back to the problem at hand.

Anger overcame me once again I popped another bottle trying to drown out my memories.
