"Hey, Lis," I say. Jack drops my hand and glances at Trace. I clear my throat and sit down. "How was your night?"

She shrugs. "Boring- oh hey, Awsten," she says. Awsten slides into a seat. Jack sits next to me. "Is anyone super tired of school?"

"Yeah, I don't wanna have school anymore either," Justin says, sitting down. Kellin and Vic stand beside the table.

Rian leans over and whispers something to Tay. Tay laughs and punches him in the shoulder.

"Lis, can we talk?" I ask, standing up. Jack looks at me. I pat his shoulder before walking behind a tree. Lisa follows and gives me a look.

"Alex, are you okay?"

"Are you dating someone?" I ask. She blinks. "Lisa, just say yes or no."

She sighs. "Alex, I don't want to talk about it-"

"So he was right. You are dating someone."

"It's complicated," she snaps. "I just- it's a thing, and it's hard to explain."

"I'm dating the guy that broke my heart for like three years. Try me." I cross my arms.

"Um... I'm not dating him. But it's- I really like him," she mumbles.

I smile. "Do tell."

"Your boyfriend's best friend- uh aside from you."

"Who- wait, Zack?"

She nods. "Uh, we have some classes together and I dunno, we started talking- and he isn't bad. Wait, as he ever hurt you?"

I shake my head. "No. He seems decent. I heard he smokes weed."

She laughs. "I don't really know. But he's really charming and nice. Hey, you can ask Jack about him for me."

"I- I'm not going to question my boyfriend about your boyfriend," I scoff. "But I'll have you know. You are in a friend group with guys and Tay. All of them will literally rip Zack apart if he hurts you."

"Have you seen Zack?" She asks.

"I get that he's strong, but once Tay rips his dick off." I wiggle my eyebrows. "He won't be able to fend us all off after that."

She sighs and pulls me out. "Go to your boyfriend," she grumbles. I laugh and walk over to Jack. He glances around before placing his hand on my leg. I smile at him and place my hand over his.

Awsten leans down. "You two," He mumbles and puts his pen away. Jack squeezes my leg and glances at me.

I lean against him. I lay my head against his shoulder. Tay and Awsten share a glance before Tay smacks her head against the table.

"Hey, uh, I'm kind of new here," a voice says, female- Australian accent. I look up and see a girl, blonde hair.

Tay's eyes widen. She stands up and stares at the girl. "Holy shit," she mumbles and hugs the girl tightly. The girl hugs back, laughing softly.

The rest of the group glances around at each other in confusion.

Tay pulls away slightly and the girl kisses her. Huh.

"Uhhh, not to interrupt this... Intimate moment, but, Tay, who is this?" Kellin says. Vic nudges Kellin in the arm, frowning. "What? I need to know so I can make a ship name!" Kellin whines. Vic rolls his eyes.

"Oh, uh this is Jenna," Tay says. At that moment, everyone realizes and starts welcoming her.

"Sit down, Jenna," I say. "Let's talk before the damn bell rings."
