Prologue

Just like the stars, even though it's shining, sometimes people doesn't appreciate it.

I'm Trish Irish Riley. In school, they all known me as the braviest girl. The only girl in the gang. I'm used to their attention and praises. I always fight so I can survive. 'cause, "If you don't fight then how could you win?"

They were times, that I wish I could bring back myself from the past, so I can correct all of my mistake like what happened two years ago..

Two years ago..

"Don't tell me they found us!" I hissed.

"I don't know.. Just calm down first and let's think on how to survive." Her voice is trembling.

I don't know what to think. My head suddenly felt blank and I don't think, I have the right in mind to think what plan should we do. If only their target is me, all alone, it would be better, but shit! they were now targeting my bestfriend!

This is not good. I have to think!

I just want to escape that suicidal gang. I better have to think what sould we do. I can't just let them do what they want. But first, I have to save Cess. I know what they want and I also know that they're coming for cess to get that.

What a dumb people.

I called her phone, She immediately answered it. "Cess, where are you?"

"I'm hiding here at the bushes. Don't worry about me, trish. They were looking for you so be safe, okay? I don't want you to get hurt.."

"I will. promise me you'll be safe, too? Just please hide first and call me if you hear something." I said while running.

I was about to hang the call when I heard someone else on the phone. "Boss, andito lang siya kanina, e." I heard a man's voice.

"Hanapin niyo siya, hindi kayo titigil hangga't di niyo siya nakikita!" sigaw din ng kung sino.

"Yes, boss!" And after that I heard them leave.

"Cess?"

"Trish, I'm scared. They're now here. I already know to myself that I'm not going to survive.." She cried.

"No! Do you really think I will let that? I won't allow you to get hurt! You're my only friend so please don't leave me.."

She didn't answer but I keep hearing her pleading and crying. If only there's a way I can get there immediately.

Lord, please. I know that I'm such a bad person. I know I killed some people before but please, protect my bestfriend. She's the only person that can calm me so please, I promise we'll live far away after this.

I'm still praying when I heard cess. "Bitwan niyo ko! Argh!" She screamed.

"Cess? Please hang on, I'm almost there.." Mas binilisan ko pang tumakbo even though I don't feel that I have a feet anymore.

I throw my phone somewhere. When I finally arrived here, Justine and the rest of the gang is here. But I did not pay attention to them because right now, I'm looking at the girl they lock up on the tree.

"Finally. After 3 months you're now here. Hindi ko tuloy maisipang maexcite, trish." Justine laughed.

"I don't care about your bull, justine. Let go of my friend and I promise to tell you where are the some antidotes that you want." I gulp.

"Who said I still need the antidotes? Hmm?" He smirked.
