TW?

*Callum's POV*

I went back to work for the afternoon. Shockingly (not) Jay was annoyed but not for long. He was more worried that we had so much to do. The day went quick and before I knew it, it was time to leave.

I don't know if I was thankful or not. It meant I would have to go and have some deep chat or something with Ben. I don't know what he was planning but he hates talking so it's got to be serious. I just hope we are ok.

I leave and get to our door. Not that it's far, it's literally outside. I think our key might be broken as I struggled to open the front door. It's been like this for a while. Wiggling the key, I feel someone taller behind me. I get a shiver and am thrown into memories of Keanu.

I start to shiver and sweat. I feel cold and hot at the same time, if that's even possible. My heart is beating a million beats per minute and I think my lungs will burst. I haven't even turned around yet. I don't know anything or remember what I was doing, all I can think about is how I have to get out of this situation immediately.

I manage to open the door and slam it straight away. I stand leaning against the door in a puddle of sweat dripping from my forehead.  I try to block out all the noise. All the voices of Keanu that are in my head.

I know what's happening. It's happened to me before. When I was discharged from the army. Used to wake up at night with the same symptoms. We used to see it all the time out there. It's shellshock. Well its called PTSD in modern terms but in the army we called it shellshock.

As my heart starts to steady and I feel myself come out of this, I hear loud banging on the other side of the door. I hear a voice I am familiar with. And then another. I can hear Stuart talking to Ben. I focus on their voices.

Stuart: yeah I don't know what's wrong. I was just here waiting for him to open the door.

Ben: so how comes he's inside and your not?

Stuart: he was struggling. Couldn't get the door to open, you know how it is, and then he just slammed the door. He must have barricaded himself in or something.  I tired to open the door with my key but the door won't shove..

Ben: let me talk to him. Stay here incase he replies.

*To the door*

Hey cal, it's me Ben. I don't know what's going on but can you open up. It's just Stuart and me here. I brought the pasta and chicken from the store. Some beers as well.

I just stand still. Back still against the door. No reply.

*To stuart*
Did he say anything?

Stuart: *shakes head* nope

Ben: *to me*

Ok babe, if you don't open the door and let us in then we will have to call the cops. Whatevers going on will be ok. We can help you just let us in. Please babe.

Slowly but finally I open the door...
