Chapter 1

My friend Emma and I were playing baseball with her boyfriend Elmer. And my ex Taya was there too. We always play baseball after school. I had just hit a home run.

Emma had blackish hair with dyed purple tips. She always wore the same type of shoes. Taya, she has long, straight brown hair. She has a birthmark on her forehead, that's when we sometimes call her Triclops. She was usually angry with me.

Elmer had short, dark blonde hair. He greatly enjoyed sports, he liked football the most. He doesn't like Emma very much. I had dark blonde hair down to my eyebrows. I was obsessed with wearing my favorite coat and I despise jeans.

Then it happened, we didn't very fadst. Time completely stopped, everybody froze except us. There was a bird, flying midair. The squirrel, climbing a tree.

There were two of them. One of them wore a black tuxedo, and one wore a white one. The black had a stop watch in his hand

"Come with us," the one in the black tuxedo shouted

"Or what?" Emma shouted, "Who are you anyway"

"The VECI, Vita Element Controllers Investigators" said the man in the white tuxedo

Taya yelled, "If you don't stop, I'll slap the white right of your asses!"

The men were fed up with our additude, so they  violently grabbed Taya and Elmer. There were gone, and Emma started to cry. We knew we had to do something, but what? But whatever the cost, we would rescue our friends.
