Elsa's POVS:
I wake up to my phone ringing. Looking at the clock- 4:02 am- I pick it up groggily.
"Hello?" I say, rubbing my eyes.
"Elsa!" Says jack. He sounds like he's crying. I sit up straight.
"Jack? What's wrong?" I ask.
"It's hiccup!" He cries. "I've called 911, come to the greenhouse quick!"
I jump out of bed and pull on some boots. Anna sits up sleepily.
"What's going on?" She asks.
"I don't know. Just, stay here." I say as I run out the door.
I approach the greenhouse, and see glass littering the grass. I start running, and find jack kneeling next to hiccup on the ground.
There's blood everywhere, and- ice? Jacks powers. He must've lost control.
"J-jack?" I say.
He stands up, and embraces me, sobbing.
"He fell off the roof," he says.
I look over his shoulder at hiccup, and I can see the bone of his left leg. Sirens are in the background, but all I can do is stare off into the distance, too shocked to think. Jack is still crying, and I feel a few tears falling down my cheeks.
The ambulance arrives, and by now, a crowd has gathered. The rest of the gang is at the front, astrid screaming her head off. Anna and Punzie are holding eachother, and Euegene, Merida and Kristoff are standing by, looking like they might faint.
The ambulance drives away with hiccup. Eugene drives us to the hospital, all of us silently sitting. I look out the window, and rub jacks back. He's stopped crying, but now, he stares off blankly.
Eugene pulls up to the hospital. We go in.
"May I help you?" Asks the lady at the front desk.
"Hiccup haddock," says Kristoff. "Where is he?"
"Room 212" she says.
We run to his room, and find him being inspected by a doctor and a few nurses. They're whispering to eachother.
I look over the doctor's shoulder, and find most of him intact, but his left leg is covered.
"It's a shame we had to amputate it," I hear a nurse say a bit louder.
Jacks POV:
"What?!" Shrieks astrid.
She pulls the sheet off of his leg. It stops right under his knee, and is bandaged thoroughly. Anna puts a hand to her mouth. Astrid starts crying again into Punzie's shoulder. Kristoff faints. Elsa's eyes widen, and she puts her arms around me.
The doctor looks up at the sound of Kristoff hitting the floor, and a nurse helps him up.
"He'll be ok," he says, "the meds just have him knocked out."
"Why'd you take his leg?" Asks Euegene.
"The bone was unrepairable. We had no other choice." States the doctor.
We stay for a while, and mostly everyone falls asleep.
A nurse comes by to change his IV, and tells us to go home. When we arrive back at the school, we all go up to my room.
Not a word exchanges between us, and eventually, we all fall asleep against eachother, sobs breaking the silence every now and then.
A/N: sorry I haven't been doing very long chapters, I just don't have a ton of extra time to write!!! I will try harder to though!!!
