10. What Am I To You

 "Thank you for being here, Minnie." Taehyung gently squeezes Jimin's small hands as they walk down the aisle where stood magnificent art pieces by Taehyung's favorite artist. Jimin smiled back at him leaning his head on Tae's wide shoulders.

Taehyung has always been Jimin's comfort through all the bullshit he had to go throw after he left for Miami. He was mentally and emotionally distressed and the suicidal thoughts were making a home inside Jimin's mind but Taehyung entered his life like a savior. All though his life wasn't any better but the tall boy's presence made it a tiny bit easier to survive.

"I know it is hard for you to be out here in public especially after you saw him." Taehyung is careful with his words cause it's a sensitive topic "I'm proud of you Jimin!" They both stop walking and Taehyung wraps his arms around his best friend and gently rubs his back, "You are much stronger than I could ever be, Minnie. And that's why I'm proud of you."

"Hyung, we'll be late. Hurry up!" screams Jungkook as he keeps banging on the door.

"Can you please let me take a shower in peace!", Yoongi yells back. He is not in his right state of mind but when Jungkook asked him to go out with him to the Seoul Arts Center cause he wanted to see his 'angel' (yeah! That's what he calls Tae) he couldn't refuse. Jungkook's doe eyes just does the trick.

"I told you that we'll leave by 9! And it's 8:59 and you're still taking a shower!" The bunny boy is getting impatient. The Art gallery opens at 11 and it's a fifteen minute drive from Yoongi's place.

The older knows that and he clearly ignores the younger and takes his sweet time to shower.

After a lot of convincing and begging they leave at 9:30. Little did Yoongi knew he'd meet someone familiar there.

At the Seoul Arts Center...

"It's 10, Gukk. I told you it won't open till 11." Yoongi groaned. But Jungkook was a step ahead. He took out two tickets from his pocket which had VVIP written on it. "I have already arranged the VVIP tickets so we can visit an hour earlier." smirked the bunny boy as he unbuckled the seat belt.

"How the fuck did you get that?" gasped the older. Namjoon being an art freak never ever got a VVIP access to any of the art gallery cause it's nearly impossible to get one even if you are a celebrity. "Hyung, don't underestimate the power of Jeon Jungkook. It was easy peasy. The daughter of the owner of the Seoul Arts Center is my fan so now I just have to go on a dinner date with her." Jungkook grinned, "Now come on. Let's go!"

As they entered they saw beautiful art pieces. Some were huge and complicated but still mesmerizing. Both the boys don't know much about art but they appreciate the sincerity and hard work each piece shows.

They walked further inside, there were a few people there drinking champagne and appreciating art when the younger finds two guys just holding hands and the shorter guy's head leaning on the taller boy staring at a painting.

He could only see their backs but he had a hunch that it was Kim Taehyung. He nudged Yoongi to look at what he's looking. But he accidently nudged a little too hard that the older winces loud enough to get everyone's attention.

The two boys turn around and Yoongi's world turns upside down once again when he sees the face he loves and hates the most.

Jimin stands still when his eyes lock with Yoongi's. His heart starts beating faster, he's sweating. Taehyung looks at the two guys who keep staring at both of them.

"It's him, hyung." Jungkook breathes, his eyes not leaving Tae's. The younger's words are not processed by Yoongi's brain because they're already overloaded with thoughts of Jimin standing in front of him.

"Excuse me? Can I help you?" Tae utters.

Yoongi unknowingly walks towards them, slowly. Jimin gets nervous and his hold around Tae's arms tightens. His best friend senses his distress. Before yoongi could reach closer Tae stops him with his hands on his chest, "Stop!" he says, "You're making my friend uncomfortable."

The rapper is unfazed by Taehyung's subtle warning and he keeps staring at Jimin who is on the verge of crying. Yoongi wants answers. He needs closure. He wants Jimin to tell why he did what he did? Why did he leave him? Was their relationship so shallow that he didn't even care to break up face to face instead he wrote a letter? A letter to not look for him cause he's leaving cause he doesn't love Yoongi anymore? That it's too much work to live with him?

Jungkook is confused. Why is Yoongi hyung behaving like this? It's so unlike him.

Fearing that the situation could escalate he runs towards them gently pulling Yoongi behind him. "Uh...sorry. Yoongi hyung must've mistaken him for someone else." stutters the idol.

Taehyung glares at the rapper before he cups Jimin's face, "Chim, are you okay?"

And a tear falls down his cheek. Loss of words so Jimin just nods.

"I'm sorry again. We'll take a leave." Jungkook bows to the two, grabs Yoongi's hands and walks towards the exit.

"Yoongi hyung" a tiny choked voice utters and the older has to turn back to look behind. "I'm sorry." Jimin half speaks half whispers. He is guilty of all the pain he has caused Yoongi and he knows the pain is way too much that a sorry won't fix it. But right now he could muster only that much courage to say sorry.
