April 14

“Wait. He came to your house. At midnight. In the pouring rain. And confessed his love for you?” Michael asked, walking out of the kitchen, bag of popcorn in hand. I nodded, sipping from the cup of tea I held in my hands. “That’s so unlike him” Ashton spoke beside me, I nodded. “It’s like something straight out of a movie. Cheesy” Luke smirked from the ground, the other boys chuckling, I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.

“So there’s that party at Harry’s tonight” Luke said, I looked at him confused. “And?” I asked, standing up, walking into the kitchen. “We want you to come with us” Michael smiled as they followed me. I pushed myself up onto the bench, looking at them confused. “Why?” I asked confused, looking between them all. “Because you’re our friend and it’s what we want” Ashton smiled.

After an hour of arguing, hair and make-up and much discussion of what I was going to wear, we were finally walking into the party. “I don’t think I should be here” I whispered, looking around the room. I spotted only a few faces I knew in this house full of people. I followed the boys as we walked out the back, spotting the 1D boys sitting in a circle.

“You actually got her to come?” Niall smirked at the boys, “You all owe me 20” Zayn smirked, I looked at them confused. “You bet on whether or not I would come?” I folded my arms, eyeing up all the boys. They all looked at each other, avoiding eye contact. Liam pulled me down onto his lap, wrapping his arms around my waist. “Love you” he smiled, I rolled my eyes and giggled.

“Bull. I call total bull” Harry chuckled as he chugged back the drink in his hand, it disappearing in minutes. We all burst out laughing as his ran for the bush, the drink not staying down for long, he walked back over pouting. “Aww Haz” I smiled, wrapping an arm around him, still on Liam’s lap. “So a little birdy told me, that you Els. Have a new little crush” Louis smirked, I looked at him confused. Before I got a chance to say anything, Liam had picked me up bridal style and walked me through to the lounge.

“I looked at him and thought ‘He looks like my next mistake’ is that wrong?” I asked, Liam shrugged, sighing “He sounds like a nice guy. You just gotta stop thinking like that. I mean, you could make any bad guy good for the weekend” He smirked, I rolled my eyes, lightly hitting him. “Go give it I try. It could be a forever, or it could down in flames” He shrugged, I nodded slowly. “But I think now’s the time to decide because there he is now” He smirked pushing me slightly away from him. “Jeff, hi” I half smiled, “What are you doing here?” I asked confused, “Harry invited me” He smirked, “You look amazing” I blushed as he looked me up and down.

“I could show you incredible things” He smiled, I smiled back as we walked hand in hand down the street. “New money, suit and tie. I can read you like a magazine. You’re interesting.” I smiled at him. “But if it ended would the high be worth the pain?” I asked. We stopped at a park bench, sitting down. “We’re young and we’re reckless. Who cares if we take this way too far” He smirked at me, grabbing my hand once more he smiled at me, leaning in, his lips only inches away from mine, “Let’s take this way too far”

*Present*

I sighed as I made my way home, blank space filled my ears. The sky was dark and the stars were shinning bright. I gasped as a figure appeared in front of me. “Elsa” They said as I pulled my headphone out. “Jeff?” I squinted, their face coming into view. “Leave me alone” I hissed, pushing past him. “Elsa wait” He grabbed my arm, spinning me around, “Give me a second chance” he pleaded. “Jeff I’m done with you.” I scoffed, pulling my arm out of his grip. “You will give me a second chance” he yelled after me, I shook my head, placing my headphone back in.

I sighed as I walked through the front door, flicking on the lights. I dumped my bags by the front door, kicking off my shoes off and making my way into the kitchen. I flicked on the lights, freezing when I noticed a glass and bottle of wine on the counter with a note attached.

‘You’ve worked so hard lately, have a night off. X’ I looked at it confused but shrugged, pouring myself a glass, before walking into the lounge and flicking on the TV. The first glass went down within a few minutes, and I was starting to feel dizzy?! Maybe it’s because I was tired. I can handle my drinks, so why am I so dizzy? A shiver ran down my spine and yawn escaped my lips. My eyes began to slowly close, what’s happening to me? It’s just all blackness.

*Michael’s P.O.V.*

“Elllssaaaa” I yelled as we walked through the front door. “Elllssaaaa” I yelled again, the boys ran upstairs, looking through all the rooms. I walked into the kitchen, noticing a bottle of open wine sitting on the counter, a note sitting beside it. I picked them up confused, walking into the lounge. “Why is there a wine glass on the floor?” Ashton asked, picking it up, I placed the bottle and the note on the table, pulling out my phone.

“Michael Hey” She answered, her voice full of sleep. “Elsa where are you?” I asked, my voice filled with concern. “I’m at home” She answered, sweet and simple covered and confusion. I looked at the boys, placing my hand over the phone. “She thinks she’s at home” I whispered, the boys all started running around the house, yelling her name. “Shut it” I yelled, removing my hand from the phone.

“Elsa. You’re definitely not at home” I half whispered, “Elsa. We’re at your house now. As in. Inside you house and you are definitely not here” I heard her running around, frustrated noises coming from her mouth. I looked at the boys concerned, them all waiting to hear what I have to say.

“Michael” She cried into the phone, “Michael I’m scared. I don’t know where I am. I can’t get out” My heart sank, I could tell she was crying. “I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t know how I got here” She whispered. I heard her gasp and the phone went dead. “Elsa” I yelled into the phone. I slowly pulled it away from my ear, staring at it.

“Michael” Calum whispered, I looked up at them, sitting down on the couch. “Michael where is she?” Calum asked, “I don’t know. She just. She just hung up” I half whispered, looking back down at my phone. “Who would do this to her?” I asked, Calum sighed, "A nightmare dressed like a daydream"
