Discliamer: Loki and Lu have two degenerated minds, if they talk at deep night and go crazy, maybe then they shouldn't use a computer, because these are the delirious results.
We apologise, on our knees, with David and all his marvellous characters and whom they belong to... also, apologises to the lovely Georgia!p.s. Title is in Italian for the double pun that word offers (Ten and Tennant, LOL) ... the meaning is wavering ;)
a HUGE thank youuu to Advitiya, our wonderful beta!! <3
Prologue: The Wish
After the ceremonial picture of David in front of that extremely colorful and eccentric cake that is going to become viral in every social platform, the whole Tennant family keep celebrating the birth of the head, in the privacy of their house.
One by one, Georgia lights the candles on the cake, urging her husband to blow them off.
"C'mon, Daddy, blow all of them off, with just one breath!" his kids incite him, in chorus.
Even the youngest one, who can't speak yet, waves her little hands frantically, as is she wanted to be part of that cheerfully mood.
David takes a long breath, ready to satisfy that group request, but before he can accomplish his mission, Georgia softly taps his shoulder.
"Did you make a wish, before blowing them off?" she asks him.
"Am I not way too grown up for such stuff?" he murmurs, chewing on his lower lip.
His wife shakes her head, smiling at him and caressing his face, a little bristly that matches that hair longer than usual, so wild that he has to tame them with a thin hair band.
"You're never too grown up for such stuff," she whispers at his ear.
Heartened, David leans closer to the cake again, staring at the candles.as he thinks about some of his innocent fantasies. Some, that are so impossible and absurd, that it's easy to get lost just thinking about them. He wishes it could come true but mentally chuckles at the impossibility of it all!
But as he blows out the candles in a single breath as his family wildly celebrates, the impossible fantasy is his foremost thought:-I'd like every of my characters... oh, okay, at least the most known ones, to exist for real and I'd like to meet them, too, in order to chat with them, get to know them better, figure out if we could be a little similar in something... but there's no possible way such a thing can happen for real, it's more probable that lockdown ends tomorrow!

The Doctor recently had to say goodbye to his most beloved female Companions, letting them living their lives: to one of them he gave a piece of himself, literally, knowing that his metacrisis version couldn't be in better hands; he allowed the one who has been with him for more times and regenerations to hug her son again; he left another one facing the beginning of a new adventure, that maybe will also bring her to the more than deserved true love... unfortunately, one of them won't have even the slightest memory about the countless, incredible adventures they had together, but at least she will survive.
Due to all these reasons, the Doctor feels deeply alone once more and the only cure he knows is to travel through space and time with his TARDIS.
"I've heard that Tvkr-8 is the proper goal if you need to cheer up, the creatures who live there has a peculiar sense of humor. What about going there, mm?" He talks with his spaceship, as he sets the coordinates.
As he pulls a lever down, the psychic card he always keeps in his pocket starts to blink, he probably wouldn't notice if he hadn't lower his gaze towards the bright blue light inside the pocket of his coat.
"Woah, what's wrong? - He puts his hand inside the pocket, drawing the psychic card out, as he reaches again the console.
In the middle there's a black written.
" A request, eh? Let's see what it's about. An invasion? An assault to a library?" he hypothesizes, as he fathoms the card for further details.
"Whaaat? A granted birthday wish?" he grimaces in an expression of pure puzzlement, but also amusement.
"Well, there's a first time for everything. I'll try to consider it a request of help," the Time Lord decides "Coming from Earth... year 2020. Fine, let's s see the whole matter,"
On the card he can see several astonishing info and he absorbs them all, grinning madly as he sets the first destination of that list.
"Oh yeah, this is going to be much more fun than Tvkr-8!"

It's a rare beautiful sunny day, in London, Soho. In Greek Street a ray of sun seems to part from the general brightness to lean against the window of a shop with the sign 'Fell & Co'.
The shop is closed at the moment and yet it seems there's quite an activity inside. The cause of that movement is the buzzing noise of a box that's blinking.
The noise catches a man's attention.
He's wearing cream coloured clothes and he's standing at the opposite side of the road.
He starts running, as if the world was about to end.
The weight of his round belly slows down his morning run and the box has all the time it needs to completely appear in the shop.
The man who's laboriously running happens to be the owner of the shop. He frantically opens the door, to check if his beloved books are alright.
It doesn't occur to him that books are inanimate objects with no emotions. As his best friend would say, it would be useless trying to make him notice that, it would end up in epic argue that would see the angel defeat everyone else's attempt to make him change his mind about it.
Really, said best friends would add, it's better not to make him angry!
That's why it's perfectly understandable if this man entered his bookshop clearly agitated and panting.
That's the moment when one of the doors of the blue box opens and a man comes out. He's wearing a brown pinstripe suit, covered by a large beige coat, similar to Aziraphale's one, but longer, so long that it almost skims the floor when he walks.
And then Aziraphale notices a detail that definitely annoys him. The stranger's sneaker is almost stepping on one of the man's beloved books.
"Hey, you, stop! What the bless are you doing?" he asks him, leaning out.
He approaches the stranger, not to look at him, but only to collect his book from the ground.
"What? Whaat?!" the other asks, frowning, with his mouth slightly open and a puzzled expression.
"How do you dare almost stomp on this Hamlet volume?" he asks, irritation growing in his voice, as he cradles that book.
The stranger seems to smile at that scene, as Aziraphale - that's the name of the owner of the bookshop - raises his gaze towards him.
In that precise moment he realises something he hadn't noticed before. Save for the color of his hair and colour and the shape of his big eyes, that man looks exactly like his best friend.
His mouth opens in an, 'OH' and stays that way as he stares, bewildered, at the apparition that has appeared in his shop!
He forgets about his cherished books for a moment, while he keeps cuddling the volume he's still holding against his chest.Shaking himself, Aziraphale asks the apparition, "Who are you? "Crowley, is that you? Just how?" he goes on, without getting any reply, because the other is busy searching for something in his pockets.
The Doctor freezes when he hears that name.
Aziraphale doesn't know, but the creature in front of him had already heard Crowley's name in a different time, defined as a demon. He doesn't have any other information about him, save for the fact his best friend is an angel.
"I'm the Doctor. Just 'Doctor'." he seems to spell the word out.
"Ohh.." Aziraphale takes a look around. "Just wait here. Don't move, Doctor."
Aziraphale runs to the phone to call his best friend.
"Crowley, Dearie, c'mon, answer me!" he mutters, as he keep staring at the weird stranger, so similar to his Dearie and yet so different.
In the meantime, he doesn't lose sight of his book, quite the contrary, he guards the Doctor, to see if he dares to stomp on another one.
The Doctor observes his books, too curious not to. Aziraphale allows him to do that, as on the other side, finally someone answers.
"Oh, good Lord, Dearie! You should come here, I mean something like... now,"
The answer he receives is muffled to the Doctor's ears, only the person at the receiver can hear it.
"Uhm, that's not exactly, Dearie, there's a stranger, that's right. He calls himself the Doctor... what if he was that Doctor? I know, I know it's only a show, but English people loves it so much! No way, you are going to send him away, I don't want to make enemy with someone with two hearts who comes from another dimension!"
Aziraphale would go on grumbling, instead he hangs up, waiting for his best friend to show up.
It doesn't take much time before a man with bright red hair and sunglasses enters the bookshop, screaming 'Angel!'
"I'm here, Dearie," Aziraphale reaches him.
As Crowley enters, the stranger who called himself the Doctor turns from his perusal of the books to exclaim excitedly, "Ginger, you're Ginger!" he starts bouncing, holding a sort of metallic little stick. He stretches the odd stick, with a light that analyses and scans that body so similar to his own.
"Only one heart, two black wings. You have two black wings. So you're demon for real! And your hair is brilliant
It takes huge effort on Crowley's part to prevent an enthusiastic Doctor from touching his hair and passing it through his fingers to check it... and he succeeds, without even hurting him.
Aziraphale confines himself just to observing them, amused.
"Oh, I'm so careless, I'm such a bad host. Would you like a cup of tea, Sir Doctor? Maybe something warm and a sweet? I should have cake in the kitchen. Fruit cake, apple pie, rice cake, cream cake, French cake, cupcakes ... you're just spoilt for choice!"
The Doctor stares at Aziraphale stunned, while Crowley just rolls his eyes, hidden behind the dark lenses of the glasses he always wears.
At least, Aziraphale's endless list of cakes has some results: the Doctor quits trying to touch Crowley's hair.
The angel figures out on his own that maybe he enumerated way too many sweets. He just so fond of cakes and crepes. He casts a joyful look at the Doctor and Crowley already feels the jealousy rise within him.
"Sssso, Doctor, if this is really your name, what did you come here for?" Crowley grumbles, "I'm sssssure you must have a purpossse."
The Doctor stares first at them both, debating whether to say anything about the random birthday wish that came up on this psychic paper. And while mentally debating this conundrum, he has forgotten all about the brilliant ginger hair!
"Maybe we'd better talk about it in front of a cup of tea and a slice of cake." he murmurs already knowing he won't eat.
Aziraphale leads them to the kitchen. The angel cheerfully divides, in three parts, a cream cake, although neither Crowley nor the Doctor are even touching it.
Aziraphale is already accustomed to Crowley's habit and, watching the famous Sci-Fi tv show, he figured out that the Doctor also doesn't eat much. At least not when he's nervous.
He would never admit it but he would have preferred if those two had enjoyed the cake as much as he does.
"You should give it a try, it's scrumptious!" he grumbles, bringing a forkful to his mouth and munching as the other two talk.
Crowley seems the most eager one to come to the point.
"So, why are you here?" he asks again.
"I'm on a mission," the Doctor stares better at the cake, after what Aziraphale said. "I've received a message... " he begins, but, after gulping down the forkful, Aziraphale stops him.
"Does someone need help?" he asks him intrigued.
The Doctor shakes his head.
"Not exactly, it's more like a wish. Someone wished many of us to be there. I suppose we can consider it a request of help. If he needs all of us, it must be something important for sure." he clarifies.
"All of us ... who?"
The Doctor shows them the psychic card and they both stares at it puzzled.
"Look, Dearie, it's the psychic card, it exists for real then!" Aziraphale rejoices, taking it in his hand and treating it as one of his ancient, precious books.
The Doctor watches his actions, frowning.
"How can you know..." He wonders
"My angel is obsessed with the tv show about you, or rather your earlier regenerations, probably he still have to watch more to reach yours." Crowley explains, glancing at the angel and he smiles because Aziraphale is humming absently, all engrossed in his examination.
"So, I suppose you know I come from an alternative universe. There are others with our features, Crowley. Actually, Aziraphale, there are also people with your features, but David called jus for the ones who look like Crowley and me... and David himself."
Aziraphale raises his head, hearing those words.
"Others? Does it mean there are other universes with ... oh, Dearie, I'll be surrounded by tons of others like you!"
Crowley is about to explode. He almost turns blue.
"There are no others like me! It's impossible. Anyway, let me remind you our deal, angel. Apocalypse is coming, we can't go anywhere."
Aziraphale bites his lips not to burst out laughing, he also feels guilty, but... c'mon it's so fun whenever Crowley displays his of affection towards him so openly.
"Yep, Dearie, we have a deal. But if it doesn't happen, if we somehow manage to prevent it, well... the Doctor can go back and take you with him." Aziraphale declares, placing the psychic card on the table.
The Doctor nods, taking the card back, before he starts eating some cake He knows better than to try and persuade those two.
He just have to let them do their job, but he's sure he will come back to pick them, no matter what.
Aziraphale smiles watching the Doctor finally eating and he resumes enjoying his cake, as well.
Crowley breaks the silence that has fallen upon them.
"If we ever follow you, it's going to be the both of us. I won't go anywhere without Aziraphale."
Hearing that, the angel blushes.
