He woke up in tears. Ever since they returned from the mortal realm, he had been dreaming of their memories. Was it because of his conscience? He doesn't know either.
An immortal who lives with all of his memories. "A man who can't forget" they say.
He stood up and took a bath. He soaked himself with cold water. "Did I choose the right decision that time? Will I be able to turn back time?" He asked himself.
He changed his clothes and decided to visit Dong Hua dijun in his palace.
"Pull yourself together, Lian song. This is Sky kingdom, I shouldn't let the past repeat itself." He told himself.
What happened 30,000 years ago? How did they end up bickering with each other every day?
He was ready to begin the day when his heart suddenly felt like it was being stitched.
He fell on the ground screaming because of the pain. "Ouch!!! Ahhh!" His hand was clutching his chest.
"I shouldn't have dreamt of the past. Ahhh!" He screamed.
Luckily, Si Ming found him and transferred him on his bed. Si Ming knew why Lian song had to go through this pain. He felt sad and useless since he cannot do anything about it.
"I know that this is the price you had to pay, but can't you just let her go and stop enduring your pain?" He whispered as he cast a lethargy spell on Third Prince Lian Song.
Days had passed and Lian song had already recovered. He knew why this is happening to him. Pain strikes him whenever he recalls of their past. An ill-fated romance, which started in the mortal realm and ended because he had to give it up. Now that they're here in the Sky kingdom, why does he have to give it up again when she already became an immortal?
He went out of his palace to check what Cheng Yu was up to. He then saw her doing her duties at Jade pool.
"I've been looking for you. How was your day?" He asked her.
"If you're planning something to trick me again, I'm telling you now, I'm not in the mood to bicker with you." She told him.
"I haven't done anything. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" He teased her.
"I mean," she started ranting "I'm just a mere mortal who cultivated and ascended as an immortal. Of all duties, why do I have to be assigned as the guardian of lotuses here?"
"This is the easiest work here. You'll have a lot of time. Don't you think it's great?" he said.
"Does your work also gives you lot of time to wander? I heard you visited the mortal realm that's why you're absent when the meeting in the grand hall took place." - cheng yu
