Fei lang and Cheng yu arrived at the Wing Tribe Palace. The family prepared for a feast especially for Cheng yu.

She was wondering what his groom-to-be looks like.

"Is he tall? Will he also make my heart flutter like Lian Song? Ah—wait, why I am thinking about him??"

She was talking to herself when she heard someone approaching her.

"Greetings, lord Cheng yu. I am Luo Yi, the Crown Prince of Wing Tribe and your soon-to-be-husband." He smiled.

Wow. Look at him. She was speechless for a moment. She just stared at him without moving.

"lord cheng yu?" He called her attention.

"Xiaoyu?" He called by nickname.

"X-xiaoyu? Why would you call me that? I mean---" She asked him.

"You seem to have lost your attention. I was just trying if you'll respond if I tried to call you by name. I'm sorry." He replied.

"You don't have to say sorry. It was my fault. I was mesmerized by your beauty. You're too handsome." She said frankly.

"I would take that as a compliment from my future wife." – luo yi

"It is a compliment, but--- wife? I can't marry you." She told him directly.

"Why? You told me earlier that I am handsome. I thought---" – luo yi

"You are, but my heart belongs to someone else. I just realized it recently. How can I marry someone I do not love? It will be unfair on your side." She explained.

"I like you. You're honest. But I am afraid that this alliance cannot be cancelled. It was the Heavenly Emperor's order, after all." – luo yi

"I know, but do me a favour. Just give me some time, I'll make sure to work this out." – cheng yu

"Sure. But if you like to succeed with your plan, follow me. Since you're here in my kingdom, we should act like we're into each other, don't you think so?" – luo yi

"Fine. But please, don't cross the line." – cheng yu

They both agreed with their own conditions. They attended the feast together and acted like they're in love with each other.

Fei lang saw them and her mind was suddenly filled with questions. "I thought she's in love with Third Prince? How come they attended the feast like it was already their wedding ceremony?"

After days of staying in Wing Tribe's kingdom, she decided to bring Luo yi in Sky kingdom to officially announce their upcoming marriage. Fei lang asked them if she can come with them and Cheng yu agreed.

When they reached Sky kingdom, Fei lang hurriedly went to Yuan Ji Palace to inform Lian Song.

"Where is Third Prince?" She asked the guards.

"He went to Jade Pool, your highness." They answered.

She ran towards the place to make sure that Cheng Yu will see them hugging each other.

When she reached the place, she jumped into Lian Song's arms and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you!" She shouted. It was the exact time Cheng yu and Luo Yi arrived at Jade Pool.

"What are you doing?" Lian Song whispered.

"Go with the flow. Hug me!!" He hugged her back.

"They're here. She went back with my brother. We have to do something." She whispered into his ears.

"Let go. You don't have to help me anymore." He removed her hands from his waist and smiled at her.

"It's okay, fei lang. You don't have to worry about me. I'm sure your brother is a good person. He will take care of her." He said with a sad tone.

"That's it? You won't fight for your love? What a coward." She dragged him towards the pavilion.

"They already saw us, Third Prince Lian Song. I bet she's already irritated as she is because of what I did." She told him.

"Fei lang, how many times do I have to tell you? It's time to let go. She already found someone new..." He turned his back.

"Fine, then stay with me tonight." – fei lang

"Stop it." – lian song

"Then let's just have a drink... in the mortal realm, what do you think?" – fei lang

"I'll accompany you, but this will be the last time. Do you understand?" – lian song

"Yes, sir." She smiled.

Back then, when he was smiling from ear to ear while talking to Princess Fei lang was because they were testing Cheng yu if she would do something or say anything. But Cheng Yu didn't care and even told them that she wanted to meet her groom-to-be.

That day, he (liansong) already knew that he will never have a place again in her heart. He knew that he should give up and convinced himself that he will never talk to her again.

As they walked passed to her old bar, he whispered...

"I don't why this has happened, but I probably deserved it. If only we met under different circumstances, I won't have to sacrifice myself to save you. Let's meet again in another life, in a place where you are only mine."
