He called those immortals who spread the rumor and made them drink an elixir which was made by the Supreme Venerable God. It was said that one can have selective memory loss if they intake the said elixir.
Now, his 5 days became 3 days. He immediately went back in the mortal realm to explain his side. But he found out that Cheng yu has moved to another city. When he was about to leave, someone gave him a letter with Cheng yu's note for him.
"If ever you come back and found that I had left. Find me where the sun sets." – Cheng yu
It was at Yan city. Where widows usually spent their time to mourn for their late husbands.
He looked for her and made up his mind that he'll confess everything to her.
He saw her having fun with other members of the organization.
"I'm back." He said to her.
The members looked confused and asked Cheng yu if she knew the man standing in front of her.
"He's my husband." She answered.
The members screamed in fear and thought that Lian song had rose from the death.
He lend her his hands and waited for her to go back with him.
She walked out straight and didn't mind him. He followed her until they reach the shore where the members of organization usually take bath.
She looked back to him and started talking. "Do you know how much it pains me whenever you leave? When I am with you, I was afraid that you'll leave again and that you might never come back."
"I'm sorry." – lian song
"You're always sorry. I'm so confused. Where have you been? Where is your home town?" she asked him. "You never told me stories about your family or your real identity. Whenever I told you to bring me to your hometown you would answer me "soon". But you always leave and never stayed by my side. What is it that you can't confess? Do you have other family? Is that so?"
"It's not like that, Cheng yu." He held her hands and teleported inside their house. She was shocked with what happened. She stepped back and was trembling in fear.
"What are you?" She stepped back again.
"I knew that this would be your reaction. That is why I was afraid to confess my identity." He said.
"You're not a mortal, are you?" – cheng yu
"You're right. I am not from this world. Do you find me scary?" he asked her.
"This must be a dream." She slapped herself.
He stopped her from hurting herself. "It's not a dream, my love. I am an immortal from Celestial tribe in Sky kingdom. I'm not a monster, please believe me." He hugged her.
"Let me officially introduce myself. I am Third Prince Lian Song, son of the Heavenly Emperor. I am in charge of the waters in Four Seas. I am an immortal and I have been staying here in the mortal realm for you. Our meeting was fate and I don't think it's a mistake."
"You're from another world. How could you possibly stay? Now I know the reason why you can't tell me where your hometown is." –cheng yu
"That's why I created a plan. The Sky kingdom opened the Jade pool where mortals are blessed and cleansed to become immortal. You just have to cultivate and then I'll take care of anything else. You'll come with me, right? If you become an immortal, we can be with each other every day without restrictions."
"Are you sure you're doing this for me?" – cheng yu
"Of course. I even defied the heaven rules for you. This is the only way to protect you." – lian song
"If this is the only way, then tell me what things I should do to start the cultivation process." – cheng yu
"Thank you, Cheng yu!" – lian song
He taught first how to gain balance with nature. The dos and don'ts as an immortal. Next was to memorize scriptures and cast spell. They spent the remaining years with each other. When he saw that Cheng yu was ready to ascend as an immortal, he told her that he will go back to Sky kingdom to give notice to Dong Hua that now is the best time to open the Jade pool.
He told her never to leave their house and never open the door if someone knocked.
"Wait for me, my love. After this, we can live together and never be apart."
He reached the Sky kingdom and immediately went to Taichen Palace.
When he opened the gate, he saw Dong Hua talking to his father.
"You're no different from your brother! Do you think I will let this slide easily?"
"F-father..." He knelt on the floor to beg. "Please spare her life. I will do everything you ask me, but please spare her life."
"Leave or you'll never see her again." – heavenly emperor
He can read between the lines. He knew what his father meant when he said that. He immediately went back to mortal realm to check if she's still there.
He found her lying on the floor unconscious.
"Cheng yu! Wake up!" He was in panic. "Cheng yu, please!!"
He saw her dress covered with blood. When he checked it, he realized that she was pregnant. He brought her to a physician and begged to save his child.
The physician told him that the baby is weak and that he should prepare for the worst.
He was left with no choice. He brought Cheng yu in the Sky kingdom without anyone knowing.
He wanted to save his wife and their baby but he doesn't have the powers to do so.
He begged his father to do something about it. He even told his father that he's willing to die in exchange to his wife and child's life. But the Heavenly emperor ordered to capture Cheng yu and bring her inside the grand hall.
"Atrocious! You already know the answer, you just have to choose. This woman's life? Or the baby inside her womb?" Heavenly emperor exclaimed.
"Lian song, please save our baby. You don't have to worry about me." She said to him.
"Sir, please spare my child's life. I'm begging you, please." She turned to his father.
She begged him again and again to make their child live.
"I thought I would be able to protect you..." He looked at her with cold eyes. "Spare his life, father. Let the child die."
"Now that we do not owe anything to each other, live your new life as an immortal." – lian song

She woke up in tears because of a nightmare. She wiped her tears off and said, "It's strange. Why do I keep dreaming of him? This is bad."
