India POV
"Rio, I haven't showered in two days." I whined.
He placed his hand on my thigh, squeezing it softly. "If you didn't pull all that shit at the house, maybe I could trust you in a hotel room. I can't though." He shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe next time you'll behave."
"I hate you." I muttered, shoving his hand off of my leg.
Rio smirked letting out a chuckle. "I love you too, babygirl." It was obvious he was being sarcastic so I didn't take it too seriously.
We've been in this car for two days and I'm fucking tired of it. Even the baby is tired of it. She's been crying non-stop all day long, only ceasing because she had fallen asleep. Avalon is still teething which has made this road trip even more of a nightmare. My body aches from sleeping in a car, I'm pretty sure I reek, and Rio has been working my last damn nerve.
"How about you just wake me up when we get there?" I sassed, trying to get comfortable in the passenger side seat. It was nearly an impossible task.
Just as I closed my eyes, the sound of my phone ringing caused me to perk up. Rio had been keeping my phone captivate the last two days. He said he'd give it back to me when he could trust me, so I'm pretty sure that means never. He's even taken the liberty of posting on social media for me, as I have a whole album in my phone filled with photos I haven't posted before. It's honestly sociopathic behavior.
"Rio?" No answer.
"Rioooo?" He didn't even look at me.
"Rio pleaseee, I just want to check it. It could be important." He retrieved my phone from his pocket, using his free hand glancing at the screen before putting it back.
"It's not." His jaw was clenched as he turned his attention back to the road.
Seeing that I was getting nowhere with him, I returned to my original plan and forced myself to fall asleep in this uncomfortable ass truck.
I had no clue how much time had past but I could feel rough hands shaking my body. "Despiertas mamas. We're here." Rio continued to shake me as I groggily, swatted his hands away.
I kept my eyes shut, mumbling. "Let me sleep."
I'm not a morning person, or evening person, I'm not fond of having my sleep disturbed at any time of day. Rio is currently disturbing my sleep. I could hear him still insisting that I get up as I pulled my hood over my head trying to drown out his voice. Well technically, his hood. I'm wearing his sweatshirt. My entire outfit belongs to him actually, after we had lunch Ava spit up all over my clothes. Yeah, that's the kind of day I've been having.
Just when I thought I had successfully deterred Rio and I wouldn't be bothered any further, Avalon's loud cries filled my ears.
"Did you just wake her up?!" I turned around to look at Rio who quickly snatched his hand out of her car seat trying to act like he didn't do anything.
