India POV

"Don't you think you're a little overdressed for a kid's basketball game?" Rio mused glancing down at my heels, as I walked into the gym balancing Avalon on my hip pushing her stroller in front of me, despite her refusal to use it. She's surprisingly high-maintenance for a one year old.

"Shut up. You know she looks good, go be bitter somewhere else." Tati waves off Rio before giving me a hug.

I let out a laugh, hugging her back as Rio mean-mugs us smacking his lips. I can tell by his demeanor that he wants to talk. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that though. He had Cameron jumped, he bugged my house. I don't have anything to say to him. Except 'fuck you'.

"Alright get your ass outta here. I need to talk to my baby mama." He playfully pushed Tati to the side as Ava's face lit up, reaching for her father. She's such a traitor.

"Dada!" She squealed loudly, kicking her feet excitedly. Getting me in the ribs in the process. I birthed her and this is how she treats me.

"Mijita, I missed you." Rio cooed taking her from my arms, he kissed her cheek causing her to smile. Until she laid her head down on his shoulder, deciding she was now bored with us.

"You said you wanted to talk Rio, start talking. Half-time will be over soon." I crossed my arms, cocking my head to the side.

I got to the game a little late since I had to ditch Blue. Luckily, I was invited to a launch party a new athleisure line. I took him with me and stayed long enough for him to find some poor  Instagram influencer turned aspiring actress to take to bed. Now I'm here,  I figured better late than never.

"Naw." He shook his head, grabbing my arm to pull me closer to him before lowering his voice. "Primero, fije su actitud."
(First, fix your attitude).

I rolled my eyes at him. He seems to be forgetting that I don't speak Spanish fluently, I don't know what the hell he's saying. He lost me after 'Primero'.
"No entiendo," I shrugged my shoulders.

Rio's grip on my arm tightened and he lowered his mouth to my ear. "I don't have time for your fucking games India. Look, I don't like doing this with you... Fighting. I just wanna know that we're good?"

I tore my arm away from his grip. "We are so not good! We're also not doing this, I'm only here for Santi."

"Come on mami, we're stuck with eachother. At least for the next eighteen years. Let me make it right."

Too bad there's nothing he can do to make it right.

I simply scoffed, walking away pushing the strollers towards were Tati was seated in the front row of the bleachers.

"Just in time." Tatiana smiled up at me as I took a seat next to her trying to collapse my stroller since Rio still had Ava. The players were being to run back on to the court, half-time now over.
