I felt someone pushing and kicking me out of the bed for the past hour. I groan as I move further away from Madds, and at some point, I'm bound to fall over if she keeps on taking the whole bed.
Deciding that she'll keep on pushing me until she claims the whole bed, I stood up and got my night robe as I went out to the fire pit.
The air was cold at this time so I lit up the fire pit and sat on one of the chairs that was overlooking the ocean.
I was enjoying it peacefully when I heard the floorboards creaking. Instinct made me turn around in a defense position, only to see Liam im his night clothes.
I put down my hands and sat back down. He walked towards me and sat beside me.
"Alex. It's three in the morning and it's the fourth day I saw you go here. Do you need a talk?" He says and I chuckle.
"No it's nothing like that. Madds just keep on taking the whole bed every night. I'm starting to think it's better to sleep in the sofa bed."
"I'll say it is." Liam says.
     "Yeah? Why? What's your problem?"
"Enzo snores way too loud." He says and we laugh at our situation, where both our roommates seem to want us out.
"Why don't we put the two together huh? See what happens." Liam proposes and it is tempting.
"Why're you suddenly quiet huh?" He asks.
     "Just... thinking."
"Yeah? About what?" I sigh, knowing that this morning's gonna get emotional.
     "My past relationship."
"Why are you even thinking about that? He cheated on you." Andrew says and I couldn't agree more. I just really can't get him off my mind. It's difficult, after I gave him everthing. After thinking he loved me back, when it was really just one sided.
"I see. You still love him don't you?" Liam asks and I slowly nod. I can't deny that.
"I was stupid for thinking he loved me back. I was stupid for thinking he's the one." I say as I sigh. Recalling all the times I said I love him. God Alex, you're so so pathetic.
"You're not stupid Lex. You were genuine with your feelings okay? Don't ever think you're stupid just because you loved someone who didn't love you." What Liam just said, hits hard. The first set of tears finally fall as I tried to get Andrew off my mind.
"Come here." Liam gestures me to go closer to him and I do. He gives me a hug and I cry on his chest, not being able to hold back the wave of tears behind my eyes.

I woke up to the bright sun shining directly on us as birds started to sing around. Once again, I woke up with Liam's arms around me as he snuggles closer and he buries his face on my neck.
I guess we fell asleep when we kept talking with each other on the hanging couch.
I try to wiggle out when he wakes up and his husky voice greets me.
"Good morning." He says and I smile at him.
"Good morning. Now get up I need to pee." I say and he only groans, pulling me closer to him and hugging me tighter.
"Let me go." I tell him as he laughs and he shakes his head no.
"What time is it?" He asked and I checked my watch. "It's almost nine. Now get off me, the others are going to wake up soon." He hesitantly removed his arm and I quickly stood up, not wanting him to trap me for another minute longer.
I left him outside and went back in to take a bath before anyone else wakes up and races me to the bathroom.
I was just drying up when someone knocked on the door.
     "Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Madds and I really need to pee Alex!" She shouts from the other side and I quickly wrapped the towel around my naked body and let her in.
She ran inside and I left her in there, going back to our room.
Since today's plan is to just chill out by the beach, I put on my plain black bikini underneath my denim shorts and a cropped floral polo on top of it.
I went out to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee when I saw Emma hanging by the fire pit, so I made another cup for her, a creamy coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Just how she likes it.
"Morning." I greet her as I hand her the coffee.
"Hey. Thanks. What's up?" She asks, taking a sip from the mug.
"So how's the two of you going?" I ask her, referring to her situation with Alec.
"Haven't gotten the chance to talk to him but we're good. Well kinda. We have small talks here and there, nothing more." She tells me.
"Well are you getting back with him?"
"Deep down, I know I want to. But I don't know. Like I said before, we keep arguing about the same thing and we can't even talk about it properly."
"You guys go to different universities which are both far away from each other you know. Maybe you both are just not used to seeing each other." I suggest since we all used to go to the same highschool, plus we live near each other. That was until we graduated.
"I think you're right. Thanks again Alex." She says and I give her a nod before going back inside to see everyone set to go to the private beach.
"You guys good?" Madds asks and we give her a nod as we got all the things we need for the beach here with us.
     "Would you look at that."
This place is amazing. It's like straight from a movie with the forests behind us, and the ocean and mountains on the other side.
You could smell the scent of fresh woods and the rich soil, with the cool ocean breeze. Damn I could get used to this.
It's like we're in a Twilight movie and all we need now is a pale, cold body speeding from the mountains to show himself and a wolf to come jumping from the woods.
With the looks of it, the group shares the same sentiment as they stare at awe at the scenery.
"Last one to the water is a rotten egg!" Someone shouts and we all run towards the ocean, as the child in us comes out, afraid of being a rotten egg.
We jumped into the water, ignoring the fact of how cold it was. All that mattered was that we weren't the last to jump in.
I was safe, safe from being a rotten egg because a certain member of the group didn't want to jump in. That member is Emma.
I totally forgot how she got this irrational fear of the deep unknown and that's why she never liked the sea or any body of water where you couldn't see the bottom.
Emma stays on the sand and sits down on one of the logs, watching us from afar.
"Emma come on! Don't be a party pooper!" Madds told her and it was obvious she let out that child in her full force.
The group convinces Emma to join us but we all know how stubborn the girl can get.
