Chapter 9.2

"Hey Lex! We're going to the beach. Wanna come?" Enzo asked and I nod, thinking it was a good idea to go out for a while and get some of that sun after being stuck in the hospital for a few days.
The guys prepared the barbecue as we all wanted to have good 'ol burgers and steak as us girls handled the cold beverages.
"It's only three in the afternoon Madds. Don't you think it's too early to drink?" I told the girl who got black out drunk last night, and here she is, opening a bottle of beer.
"Eh." She said, shrugging it off.
"Food's ready!" Enzo shouts from the griller and we all run up to him, eager to eat and fill our stomachs with juicy meat.
We're all seated in the logs formed in a circular formation.
"I can't believe it... just another week left and we'll go back home..." Alec says, ruining the happy vibes by being reminded that this vacation's about to end.
"You had to ruin the moment didn't you Alec?" Liam scolds him as the others groan. Obviously none of us wanted to go back yet, especially me.
"Yeah, don't remind me." I said.
"Why?"
"Well, I'm flying back to Australia once we get back. I still got a couple months left of this school year." I explained.
"Aww Alex still has to go to school!" Emma teases and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah yeah whatever."
"Oh shit! I forgot to do the assignment!" We heard Enzo exclaim as he rushes to get his phone, probably to check the online assignments he had to do.
"I thought the school year's over for you guys?" I asked.
"Eh, got preoccupied and forgot to answer the assignment. Help me Alex?" He asked me, passing his phone to me to see a bunch of medical questions that Enzo should know.
"You're taking up med and you can't answer this?" I tell him.
"Oh I can. But you're here, so you can do it. Besides, you're the medical genius in the group so... have fun!" I rolled my eyes at him, but he was right.
I love answering medical stuff and this one's about anatomy. My favourite.
"The fuck's the difference between a radius and an ulna?" Alec asked as he looked at Enzo's assignment.
"Ulna is the bone on the pinky's side. This one. And the radius is on the same side as the thumb. The one I broke." I gestured to my arm and their eyes widened in amusement.
"Hey, let's write on your cast!" Madds suggests and I know it's a bad idea, considering how heavy their hands tend to be.
"No Madds. Nuh uh. Bad idea." I say since with the whole six of them writing on my cast, I was bound for another trip to the hospital.
"Too late!" She exclaimed, holding a marker in her hand.
"Just be careful. I don't want another week waiting for this to heal." I said, as they all took turns writing and doodling different shits on my cast.
God these people. I was even surprised no one has drawn a penis yet.
I was answering Enzo's assignment when Alec accidentally slipped and nudged my arm.
"Fuck man!" I exclaimed as I gritted my teeth as the pain was incredibly painful.
"Alec!" I scold him and he sheepishly smiles.
I looked down to see what they've written on it, only to see swear words, their names, signatures, and the usual fucking penis.
"A penis? Really?" I say, trying to look for the culprit when I caught Alec slowly backing out.
"Alec..." I warned him and he raised his arm up in surrender.

"So when are you going to talk to him Lex?" Enzo asked me as we were currently back in the living room, playing a game of monopoly.
"Dunno. Haven't really talked about it." I honestly said.
"Alex, if you don't talk to him, I will literally be the one to smash your head on the ground." Madds said and I sigh.
"I'm with Madds on this one man. You're just too stubborn to see that he really likes you." They said as I groan in annoyance. What's with all the advice I didn't ask for?
"Hey back to the game. No relationship talk please." I pleaded but they only ignored me. Friends.
"Stop cock blocking him Lex." Alec teases and my cheeks turn red, starting to get really annoyed by him. Luckily, Liam smacked him on the head for me.
"Anyways, come on Alex just give him a..."
"CHANCE!" They all shouted together and I covered my ears as Enzo kept on shaking me.
"Fine fine fine! I'll text him. Just stop bothering me!" I said, just to stop them from pestering me on talking with Ares.
"Do it now Alex. Or I will." Emma warns and I roll my eyes, getting my phone out.
