It was the day after the Queens and Kings met, and in Accentus lyes a tired prince. When his parents got home, they found he was still awake, and promptly pushed him to the study.

"No use in being awake if you're not doing your lessons." His father told him, and the young prince obliged. He was used to this by now, for he was training for the day he would be King Virgil II. To be completely honest, it makes Virgil sick with fear to think about his future.

He was going to have to be king of thousands, and every choice he made would affect them. That's a lot of power that he was terrified to have. The most he could do to prepare was to go through his lessons and learn how to rule, no matter how tiresome it got.

He was also anxious for the upcoming Saturday night, the Prandium Est Sors. He and five other princes would all have dinner and then end the night with choosing who they want to spend the rest of their lives with.

"How could I decide who I love after only being with these people for three hours or so?" Virgil muttered to himself, though he knew who he would end up with. His entire future, being king, marrying Janus, it was all planned out for him the moment he was born.

Janus was finishing breakfast with his family of eight. Plans for the upcoming week were being ironed out, Janus listened to his family discussing Thursday picnics and Friday brunches, knowing the attention would be turned to him once they got to Saturday.

"I can't believe it's already here again, aren't you excited Janus?" his mom asked, causing seven heads to turn to him. In reality, he was not excited, but this was his whole purpose in life, and he wasn't ready to argue about it this early in the morning, so he replied with,

"Yes" his mom continued to ramble about all the preparations that had to be made, and Janus continued to eat. It would be a long week.

While Janus continued talks with his family, usually giving a simple yes or no to their many questions, another prince was hard at work like Virgil. Logan eagerly read through his book about the great monarchs of the world. He wasn't over the moon about one day being king, but he was determined not to fail. He was cramming in this last lesson of the day before he had a fitting for the suit he would wear to the Prandium Est Sors.

He doubted any real connections would be made that night, but he kept quiet to please his mother. Queen Mary has done so much for him, the least he could do was to secure more power and wealth to Picardiá.

To his north in Amare, Patton played with his one younger sibling. He was excited about the dinner. He loved the dress he was going to wear and thought the night would be magical. He would walk in and immediately know who he wanted to be with.

He hoped it would be Remus so that he could make his family proud, but still be happy. "I'm sure he's a lovely gentleman." He reassured himself.

Remus was currently attempting a backflip off the roof of the castle, while his brother Roman was desperately trying to stop him.

"You are not showing up to the Prandium Est Sors with a broken arm Remus!" Roman said, dragging him away from the edge, Remus had no sense of self-preservation.

"Fine. What do I do instead then huh?" Remus and his brother walked down the stairs, eventually arriving at their shared room.

"Go over your etiquette, we don't need you embarrassing all of Geminos because you don't know how to use a spoon." Roman went back to his desk that was completely covered in messy papers.

"I'll manage just fine. I'm more worried about you, you're overworking yourself, take a break." Remus said walking from his bed to his twin's desk.

"Believe me, if I could take a break I would, but it's just too much work to be able to afford leisure time. Just wake me up if I fall asleep at my desk, preferably in a non-violent way."

Remus smirked," No promises."

Just to the east in Accentus, Virgil had fallen asleep at his desk, while his parents, and all of the other royals, prepared for Saturday.
