Thomas sat down at his desk and sighed. The meeting he had had with the other royals had revealed some issues. None actually believed in the princes to choose a good partner. Moreover, the west and the east were becoming more and more divided, and if the intended power grabs were to be, that would only continue. Thomas foresaw the fall of his kingdom, and he would not stand for it.

The capital was in a busy rush the past week, and it was now Thursday. Thomas had a final fitting for his outfit that he would wear Saturday night. He wanted to express unity between all of the kingdoms, so he wore a rainbow tie, a white button-up shirt tucked into a white skirt with rainbow ruffles. His crown had silver diamonds and in the center was a stone with colors of all the different kingdoms. He looked in the mirror and gave a weak smile. He was hoping for the best.

Away from the capital, the princes were also finishing up the last details on their clothes. Roman and Remus would wear suits, Roman and red and white one, and Remus a green and black one. Roman liked his suit, whereas Remus much rather wear nothing, but that wasn't an option his parents gave him. They had matching crowns; both gold with white gems, except Roman had red stone accents and Remus had green stone accents.

In Picardiá, Logan was trying on his dark blue suit. He carefully lifted his crown and placed it on his head. His crown had dark blue gems to match. All the stones sat in a gold frame that fit perfectly on his head.

Over in Amare, Patton admired his dress. It was light blue with blue butterflies trailing up. A mesh cape lined his shoulders and led all the way to the ground. He placed his crown on his head. White and light blue gems perfectly fit into a sliver frame that marked his status. He didn't care for the whole status part though, he just thought it looked nice.

Janus stood in front of the mirror as his mother adjusted everything over and over again. Normally this would be a job for servants, but Queen Catherine didn't want to give up control. She adjusted his black cape that was lined with gold for what seemed like the 100th time. She brushed off nonexistent dust from his yellow dress. And finally, she placed the crown on his head. His crown had a black frame with yellow stones all around. In the middle of the crown was a silver snake. He wasn't even going to lie, he looked good.

Virgil played with his skirt in an attempt to relieve some of his nerves, a servant moved his hand away. He was in a purple dress that was lined with black lace. Atop his head lay a black crown with purple gems lining the top.

On paper, all of them were ready, but all of them had no idea what was to come in the future.
