"Hey I got food. I'm guessing you guys might want to eat so here" Toni said shyly as she handed the three siblings- wait, were they siblings? she doesn't know, their food and placed it down on the coffee table.

The two kids instantly jumped up and took a burger each and eat them like there was no tomorrow, it made sense since they probably haven't eaten in weeks. The girl on the other hand hesitated before grabbing a burger herself and ate it slowly. The room was filled with comfortable silence with the sound of the TV in the background.

As Toni looked at the girl, she was intrigued with her beauty. How could someone just lock them up in a room? No less a room with a corps inside. With children!

She didn't understand how they could survive in such a wretched place for so long. And yet after all that, the girl that was sitting in front of her looked so beautiful with her barely dry copper red hair flowing effortlessly down her shoulders. She couldn't help but notice those gorgeously brown eyes of her's, that without even saying a much words, her eyes said it all. She saw the pain in them, the betrayal, the beauty. She couldn't help but notice how plump her lips were, imagining how it would look if she smiled, how her lips would feel on hers. When she finally broke out of her trance, the said girl was staring back at her with a look of confusion.

"You guys can sleep in my bedroom. The bed is just big enough to fit you three" she said with a warm smile, they all just nodded.

When it was time to sleep, Toni guided them to her room, making sure none of them needed anything more before retiring to the couch, grabbing a blanket from her closet and making herself comfortable on the couch.

It was 3:17am when she woke up to heard distressed voices coming from her room. So she stood up and silently made her way over to her room, only to find the girl thrashing in bed, sweat covering her body. She rushed over beside her to try and comfort her. Although soon enough the kids woke up with somewhat of a knowing expression on their face. After that, they took charge, the boy held her sister's face as the little girl tried looking for a tissue. Not one of them spoke, only sharing knowing glances, as if they could talk to each other through their eyes, and maybe they could.

Toni then handed they girl a tissue and the kids proceeded until finally, the older girl woke up with a gasp, sitting up. Sobs wracked her body as the kids only embraced her. Toni decided to leave them to get a glass of water. When she came back, the three were cuddles together on the center of the bed. She handed the girl the water while she only nodded in thanks and headed back to the couch.

-------------

Morning came around. The three sibling made their way to the living room and sat in silence as Toni cooked breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon and waffles.

"Breakfast is ready" she called out and brought the plates over to the living room. They ate in relative silence once again. The silence made her anxious. Could the kids not speak? Or was it just normal for them? She knew that the older girl could speak but she rarely did.

Once they were done, they turned the TV on and watched a few movies before she noticed the two kids drifting off to sleep. The older girl just looked, out of it. Toni wanted to know who she was, she had a hunch but she wanted to be sure.

"You don't have to answer but, what's you're name?" Toni asked hesitantly.

"I- Cheryl, Cheryl Blossom" she said quietly, averting her gaze down to the floor. "What's yours?"

"Toni, Toni Topaz" she smiled softly. "Why were you guys trapped in that.... room?" she asked.

"I- we- they" the girl, Cheryl stuttered as tears formed in her eyes. Toni tried reaching out to comfort her but Cheryl only flinched when her hand came in contact with her arm. Toni slowly retracted her dejected hand and only looked at her worriedly. "Can we not talk about it?" she said barely above a whisper, but Toni heard it.

"Anything for you red" she smiled softly before turning back to the TV. Her mind racing a hundred miles an hour with thoughts consisting of only the redheaded goddess beside her.
