The small cream colored buggie zoomed up and down the highway, passing by deep woods that led towards their hometown of Hawkins, Indiana. Will smiled as he sat in between his new adopted sister, El, and his girlfriend (and yes, Will has a girlfriend now), Nickalos. "So, Hawkins," Nickalos shrugged as she readjust her backwards hat. "You really think you're friends are gonna like me?"
Will wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Of course they will. And besides, they all have girlfriends, so I won't be the odd one out," Nickalos laughed softly. "And Max, she skateboards. Lucas loves poker, Dustin's a nerd, and Mike'll like you, cause well, he's Mike. And I'm sure Steve and Robin will like you too, Nick," She looked up at him with her sea green eyes, and stuffed her hands back into the front pocket of the hoodie she borrowed from him.
"Finally!" El exclaimed as she pulled out her walkie talkie and pulled the wiring to connect to the signal around them. "We're in signal," Her bright smile widened. "Gold leader. This is Griswold family. Scoop Troop, this is Griswold family, do you copy?" She repeated the phrase, several times, her smile slowly shrinking as her answer hadn't came.
The car passed the old neighborhoods Will had once called home, but now, the Byers were in Maine, in a quite little town on the border, and he was happy. There were no signs of anything bad, no Mind Flayer, no Demogorgon, no more nightmares... Will was happy, which was something that for a long time, he had a hard time saying.
"Will," Nick mumbled glancing at him with innocent eyes. He hummed in response. "You think they'll trust me? Cause of the whole, power thing I share with El?" Will pressed a kiss on her forehead. "I think they'll like even more because of it.

Mike looked at himself in the mirror, he had a plad shirt and baggy shorts and his curly hair was slightly knotted but looked sort of manged, which was all that matter to him in the end. He was going to see El again, after almost eight months of only calls and letters, it was finally time to see her again. "Gold Leader, this is Griswold Family. Do you copy?" His thoughts were jerked as he heard her voice come from the walkie talkie.
"El! Will!" Mike shouted. "Yes, yes, it's us," He heard the two of them laugh, and maybe someone else, he couldn't tell. "Maybe that was Joyce or something..."
"We're meeting you at the lot, right?" El asked. He grinned. "Yep. I'll see you there. Over," He raced to his sister's room, Nancy, who was brushing her hair. "NANCY! THEY'RE HERE!" Nancy jumped up and raced after Mike.
"Gotta go, mom!" Mike shouted as he ran to his sister's dark red Truck and hopped into the passenger seat. "Come on, come on! Nancy!"
"I'm here, geez." Nancy started the car and the two were on their way to the lot. Once they got there, Steve, Dustin, Lucas, Robin, and Max were already waiting. "Hey y'all!" Robin waved at the brother and sister. "Hey! Are they here y-"
"THEY'RE HERE!" Max yelled as she waved down the car that had just pulled into the lot. The group of teens watched as the car parked and as Jonathan, the oldest, Joyce, and El hopped out of the car.
"El! Mike hollered, and caught El's attention.
"Mike!" The two ran up to one another, and Mike embraced her in his arms. "I missed you," he smiled. "I missed you too, El,"
"Oh my god! Does Will have a girlfriend?!" Max pointed out as they watched Will help out his girlfriend from the car. She was wearing a white hoodie and a black tattered backwards cap and dirty, worn out, and ripped up jeans. He was wearing a pair of shorts and a red and white football jacket with the number '21' on the back with his last name. Will even had a new haircut.
"Hey guys!" Will stated as he grabbed Nick's hand and walked over to his old group of friends. "This is Nickalos, my new girlfriend. Nicky, this is Mike, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Steve, Robin, and Nancy," Will pointed to everyone and Nick waved.
Lucas walked up and did a small bow towards Nick. "Why hello, Miss Nicky-"
"Don't call me 'Nicky'. Will's the only one who can call me that," She hissed, then a small smile grew across her face. "Don't worry, you didn't know, Lucas right?" Lucas nodded and grinned. "Y'all can call me Nick,"
"Nick's amazing." Will stated. "I mean, she can skateboard, play poker, write, I mean she can do a lot. She's got a lot of talents." Will pulled her to his side and she leaned against him. Mike glared at Nick. "Somethings not right about this 'Nick' person."
"We should get going," Joyce said. "It's getting dark."
"We were all actually thinking about going to the theater, if that's okay," Nancy asked, while the others nodded in unison. "My mom was wanting to talk with you, since it's Thanksgiving in a couple of days."
"I- I don't mind." Joyce shrugged. "Do what you guys want, it's your guys break."
"Thanks mom," Will said.
"We'll be back in couple of hours. Let's go!" Robin retorted. "We're got a big enough car I think." The group all loaded, Nancy, Robin, and El in the front, Max, Mike, Lucas, and Jonathan in the middle, and Will, Nick and Dustin.

"Come out, little girl!" A man's voice rattled the corridor, the lights above flickering on and off as the buzz door closed without touch, making the man jump. he walked slowly down the hall, metal clanking on either sides of the walls.
"I've been waiting a long time for this moment, commander," A small but sinister voice whispered. "We finally meet," The man took another step, the floor creaking underneath him. A low growl hummed, glowing red eyes sparked from the edge of the hall. The lights flickered and the figures of large wolfs, covered in ashes and dust, rose and started towards the man. He aimed his riffle, ready to shoot as the dogs growled and snarled and bit in his direction. "Oh don't worry, commander. The wolves only attack if I tell them to,"
"What are those forsaking things!" The commander shouted as the wolves backed down and turned towards the other direction.
"They are shadows, commander. Black wolves from North America. Some of the last," the voice echoed across the hall.
"Come into the light. I want to speak face to face," The lights went out, darkness enclosing the commander, making him shutter in fear. "Do no be afraid, commander," The lights brusted on, engulfing the figure at the edge of the hall. The figure took slow steps, coming into the luminous glow. "They can smell fear, you know,"
"Who are you?" The commander asked, absently walking backwards, away from the figure. "My name is Samantha. Samantha Brendon. And I believe we have business to attend too,"
