Chapter Six- Part One- The American

  The expression on the eleven year old's face, tears streaming down her face as she begged him not to let him go into such a God forsaken place. But he had no choice. Samantha was controlling him, and she was telling him to place her there. The girl fought, tried lighting on fire, but she knew deep down it was one use. She was a science experiment, and that was it. Her last cry for help and mercy was muted as she was placed inside the goo covered gateway.

  "I hate you!" A doctor yelled from behind the glass. His eyes were bloodshot and tears were pouring down his face as he watched his daughter being taken away from her and placed in Hell. He disappeared but Hopper stood there, in pain. In the pain of what he had to do.

But that was three years ago...

  Hopper was apart of the whole operation, the one that brought all the kids into the lab. There were fourteen kids who were taken from all over, and brought to use their powers with the deadly serum, one that killed over half of the group.

  The only ones left where Five, Eight, Eleven, and Fourteen. Jane was Brunner's daughter as well as Brendon's twin daughters, Nickalos and Samantha. And eight was named Kali; who had been found in an adoptive agency and was taken to the lab.

  Hopper remembered watching the girls and boys playing on the metal floors with the blocks and drawing pictures with half shaved crayons. But it was when Seven and Twelve didn't make it that all things went down hill from there.

  Jane once called Hopper "Dad" by accident, which resolved into her head being shaved off and was forced to use her powers on the Upside Down.

  The Upside Down was created by the experiments, Samantha. After the death of her and Nick's mother, her powers created the Upside Down's  deadly monster, the Mind Flayer. The rest of the experiments had created other elements of the Upside Down.

  Eleven opened the gate, while Kali created the image of the Demogorgon and Nick didn't do as she was told. Which was why she was punished and was sent their. Hopper still was guilty for the pain and trauma he had caused her. The hurt she had now. And would always have.

  And then the end of it, was as she was sent through the gate. As he watched Eleven become brainwashed and not even remember herself open the gate for Hopper to place Nick inside. Kali knew. He knew she knew. He knew that Kali was in on him, and how she escaped when Nick was thrown inside.

  She knew. Nick knew. But Eleven didn't. When he found her in the woods several.years ago, she didn't remember him taking her friends away, who made her life miserable. She had no idea that that happened. But the others did. He had no idea how he would make it up to them.

  He had no idea what to do...
  He didn't know how to stop the Mind Flayer, stop the Russians.
  He knew that he had one chance to save the rest of them. But he just didn't know how.
