"Okay. Concentrate" Nick whispered as El's gaze was trained on a soda can on the coffee table in front of her. A small, low sound hummed over the group of girls that consisted of Eleven, Nick, Max, Erica, and Robin. The aluminium can began to fold slightly, crushing into it's self until the guys came back.

"Helllllooooo, ladies," Lucas shouted as he slammed open the door, causing the soda can to return to it's formal state and the humming that stopped. El gave Lucas a dirty look. "Sorry," Max rolled her eyes and placed her head on her hands. "How did you even lose your powers to begin with?" Erica asked as she placed her hands on her hips and eyed down the group.

"After I got that thing out of my leg, I lose my powers," El explained as she walked over to Mike, and leaned on his shoulder. "Okay, the only way that El's gonna get her powers back is if there's peace and quiet, and right now, we do NOT have that!" Nickalos ranted as she went to grab a Coke from the fridge. "And even if I was able to fully train El, there's no monsters or Mind Flayer here to try and fight,"

"But if her powers weren't strong enough, and she went to fight the Mind Flayer, what would happen then?" Mike asked worriedly. "And what if her powers are completely drained if she tries and what if-"

"Mike! We get it. You're worried." Will said. "But we're all worried. I mean, Nick can't fight that thing on her own."

  "El did"

"But barely, and it already drained her powers which is why we're having a problem in the first place," Max said. "And I-" Will muttered as he walked over to Nick and wrapped an arm around her waist. "I don't you to lose your powers either. And there is NO way you can fight that thing on your own."

"Yes I can. I have before," Nick crossed her arms and glared at Will, who laughed and hugged her sideways. "Anyways, El and I have some work to do if anyone is going to survive the next couple of days in Hell," Nick stated before planting a kiss on Will's cheek. "Let's go El."

"Okay, you see that there? That tin can?" Nick pointed out to the dented garage can on the side of the lonely road. "Try to move that over, or at least knock it down," El nodded and raised her hand towards the can ahead, and the small humming awoke in the air once again. After a few long and tiring seconds, the can tipped, hitting the cement with a large thud.

"I did it," El said, smiling slightly. "Now try to lift it back up again." Nick said. El returned to her position, and tried for several seconds longer, blood flowing slowly from her nose. "Take all your pain, all the hurting. Your laughs, your cries, your good and bad memories; and channel them through your body. Let it become a part of you, let it cause you to fight for what you want and what you need."

Absentmindedly, the tin can rose from the ground and landed on the road side. El smiled brightly and began to lift other items. An old, red Chevy, another garage can, tree roots, and other small objects.

"GUYS! El's doing it! Her powers, they're working!" Dustin screamed behind him and ran out into the lawn, while being followed by the others. "YESSSS, EL! You can do it!" Mike yelled as he ran next to his girlfriend and the group crowded around Nick and El.

"It looks like your powers are working a lot better now," Nick shrugged as she crossed her arms and smirked softly. Mike placed a hand on Nick's shoulder. "Thank you. Thank you for helping her. It means everything to me, and I know to her too," Mike smiled as he gave Nick an awkward hug. Nick gazed back at Mike and grinned.

"Of course. And besides, she means a lot to me too. Her and I had gone through that god forsaken place for years. I would do anything and everything for El," Nick said. "But now that we have this situation solved, I think we should discuss the body that was left in the Star Court Mall. Whatever is left behind from that body of the Mind Flayer is going to need to be found, so we can end this once and for all."
