We're not in Hawkins anymore...

Chapter Six- Part Two- The American

  The week moved slowly passed as the party began to plan more and more on how to kill and destroy the Mind Flayer. Finally, after a long time of stressing out about the problem at hand, the group found moments to relax, but good luck could only go so far...

  At the moment, Will, Lucas, and Mike were playing Poker, with color pencils and pens. While Dustin and Suzie were swooning over one another like there was no tomorrow, while Max and Nick were trying out new moves on the skateboard while El watched them. She smiled as Max and Nick were getting along. "Okay, so try to move your foot with the movement, you should be able to pop a wheelie." Max said as Nick got back on the skateboard. 

  "Alright." Nick said as she pushed forward and rode out on the middle crack of the road. She smiled as she was able to curve on the cement, only for a striking pain to erupt in her right leg, causing her to fall off and hit the road hard. And of course, as fate would have it, Will was walking outside right as she fell. "NICK!" He screamed as he watched her fall on the cold hard ground. He ran over to her, only to see her eyes brimmed with tears and pain etched across her face. 

  "N-no. No! It hurts! My- my leg really, really hurts Will!" She cried out, tears streaming down her face. "Hey, hey. I don't think its that bad, you probably just hit a bad spot or somet-" 

  "Will just shut up and listen to me!" She said, pulling up her sweats, revealing a black line slowly growing on the outside of her leg. She shivered as she grasped on Will's shoulder and began to cry harder as he stared down at the growing line moving up her leg. 

  "What in the world is that?!" Lucas asked in fear and disgust at the same time. That was went Will felt his pulse on the back of his neck. "Its the Mind Flayer." Will said. That was went Nick screamed in pain again as the line was now at her knee. 

  "Its okay, Nick. Its gonna be okay." Will said in the most comforting way possible. 

  "What's going on!?" Doctor Brendon asked as he ran up to the group and kneed down next to his daughter. "Its, its coming back!" Nick yelled. "The Mind- the Mind Flayer, its taking me again!" She cried as she clung onto Will, tears brimming in his eyes. 

  "Its, its going to be okay." Brendon said as he calmingly grabbed her hand and rubbed it in a caring manner. "Lets get you back inside, Nicki."  

  "I got you," Will said as he picked Nick up and began to carry her back inside the house. "Its going to be okay, baby. I'll protect you. I'm not leaving you anytime soon. Just- just try to relax," He said as calmly as he could. Nick sniffled and nodded, lying her head on his chest. 

  "Okay. This is a problem." Mike said. "We need Nick in order to kill the Mind Flayer, and now she being hurt by the Mind Flayer, again! And now, how are we going to stop it now that she's being attacked by it?" 

  "We'll think of something, Mike." Brendon said as he placed a hand on his shoulder. "For now, we have to figure out how to get that- that thing out of my daughter before its too late." Brendon said. 

So this chapter wasn't very long, but I think it was one of my better chapter for sure. PLOT TWIST!!!!!

I really think this needed to happen because A) we get a lot more Byerdon (translated as Burr-I-den or Byer-den. Its doesn't really matter. AKA Nick and Will's ship name) But thank you for reading this and I hope to be updating more often. Getting close to finishing the fan-fic!!!!!
