Ch 32 - Nurse Part 1

This chapter is something I wish would happen but so far hasn't.

Last night was a regular night. You kissed Nino goodnight and dropped Fuutaro off home. Then went back to your house to finish homework, shower, and call it a night. In doing so that night it rained. It poured hard. You were soaked before you hung up your coat and went to studying. After your completed assignments hit the shower. 

Though even after a hot shower, the cold rain did a number on you. Your head felt overly warm. Your eyes burned, had a cough, and running nose. As it was time for you to get up your felt achy as well. But you knew everyone was up. So you called your mother.

She was in the kitchen cooking as she heard her phone ring. "Why is he calling this early?" Thinking you weren't home. < Hello? >

< Can you bring the thermometer? > 

< Honey are you okay? >

< I hope. >

< Hold on. >

She made sure the pan was at the right temperature and made sure she would have the time. And no she wasn't going to bring it in the bedroom in case of incident. Your mother had grabbed the thermometer from the drawer and went into your room. 

"Hi. Oh, You don't look good. Open up." She placed it in your mouth and was waiting for a ready. Once it beeped she saw the number. "38.4 (C. Just past 101 F). You aren't going anywhere. I'll pick up juice and soup later. I'll bring water in a moment and you stay right there. Sleep in."

"Okay."

"Honestly Honey. What did you do to yourself?"

"Damn rain? I don't know."

"Well I know this. Bed. As your mother that's an order." Your mother was firm.

"No worries. I'm fine here." You sniffled and pulled over the covers. Time to catch a couple winks. That was the only thing you could do today really. So with that you pulled the blanket up. Closing your eyes and heading back to bed. Least you can fall back asleep and make up those missed hours due to tutoring, studying, and other assignments. Those dates here and there didn't help either. 

Though the one thing you forgot to do was the most important. The big deal was you just pulled the covers off and went back to sleep. Not thinking at all whatsoever on who is a few kilos away wondering where her boyfriend was. That's because you were supposed to be out of the house in a mere few minutes. Though as you were asleep, the time passed without you realizing.

She looked in the aisle of your shoe locker. Found nothing. Then she turned to the girls. "Has anyone seem (FN)?"

"Not today." Replied Itsuki.

Not this morning." Answered Ichika.

"Something seem off to anyone?" Thought Nino.

"You don't think anything happened to him do you?" Asked Yotsuba. 

"Let me call him." Nino picked up her phone and dialed you immediately. She heard it ring. And ring. And ring... < You have reached the voice mailbox- > "Okay. Anyone else thinking this is weird?"

"Leave him a text. He wouldn't ignore you." Suggested Miku.

"Alright." < Hey Boo. I didn't see you at your locker. I miss you and something seems off. I love you. Hope you get back to me and not make me worry. > "That's the best I can do right?" Shaking her head and putting her phone back. "Hopefully just running late."
