Im scared

Georgie had been out of theatre for 10 minutes. Elvis was sitting by her bed when Milan walked in "I'm sorry, I didn't realise" he said walking out "no wait" said Elvis "I want to say thank you" he said "she would of lost her leg, possibly her life without your actions" he said "she really loves you Elvis, as much as she might not tell you, she does" he said Elvis looked at him "just look after her okay, and don't let her down again" Milan said Elvis just looked at her "she's going to be alright isn't she?" He asked he nodded "the Doctor said he was on his way" he said Elvis nodded as Milan left. Doctor Antonio walked in and Elvis stood up "is she going to be alright?" He asked he nodded "she's lost a lot of blood she's going to need to stay in overnight until she's stable enough to fly home, it's a long flight as you know" he said "she could of lost that leg, she could of lost her life if Milan hadn't acted fast, it was lucky he wasn't hurt too" he said Elvis nodded and Georgie's eyes opened slowly "she's awake" said Antonio Elvis picked up her hand "I'm alright" she said pulling the oxygen mask from her face "I know, you always are, although today you gave us a bit of a scare, we thought you were leaving with one leg" he laughed "am I?" She asked "no, the both of them are still intact one with a nice scar" he smiled "you've fractured your pelvis as-well, but that should heal pretty quickly it's only hairline, but I'm afraid it is going to be bed rest for a couple of weeks" he said she sighed and nodded "I'll stay with you" said Elvis "you've got a job to do" she said "if they can cope without you, they can cope without me" he said she smiled "that's not true" she said "I'm coming home with you, I'm going to look after you" he said "I'm not sure if my dad will welcome you back" she smiled he smiled "well, he's going to have to get used to it" he smiled kissing her cheek. She looked at her hands and Elvis sat down next to her "when am I flying home?" She asked "tomorrow I think, as soon as they've got you stable" he said she nodded Elvis went to hold her hand and she pulled away "what's wrong George?" He asked "I'm scared" she said "scared of what?" He asked "I can't do this again" she said "do what?" He asked "us" she said "why?" He asked "I love you" he added she nodded "I know you do" she said "let me talk" said Georgie he nodded "when you didn't turn up, my heart, it shattered Elvis" she said tears in her eyes "I had never felt pain like it, my whole world crumbled. Everything went downhill, I threw myself into work, cried myself to sleep, I thought that everything I felt was one sided" she said Elvis shook his head "now let me explain" he said "on the morning of our wedding Debbie turned up, she told me I had a little girl Laura. Suddenly, I was a dad, I had to step up to the plate that's what dads do and I sacrificed the one thing in this world I wanted more than anything, you Georgie I sacrificed you" he cried "are you with Debbie?" She asked "no, no I have Laura when I can and that's all I have to do with Debbie" he said Georgie nodded "kids should always come first" she said he nodded "I honestly love you more than anything" he said she nodded "I know you do"  she said "kids should always come first" she said. She bit her lip "Georgie?" he questioned "Ive got something to tell you" she said as tears fell down her cheeks "what is it?" He asked "3 days after we were supposed to get married I found out I was pregnant" she cried "I was going to have a baby" she burst into tears and Elvis didn't know what to say "was it mine?" He asked "of course it was yours!" She cried "I would never of slept with anyone else, I was so in love with you" she cried he lent forward and hugged her "what did you do?" He asked "I had an abortion" she cried uncontrollably. Elvis just held her tighter "it's alright Georgie, it's alright" he said rubbing her back "I didn't want the memory, I didn't want a baby, I wasn't ready" she cried "you would of been an amazing mum" he said tears running down his face "I wouldn't, not without you" she said "if I had stayed, if we had got married and you found out would you have kept it?" He asked she nodded slowly "I was just so, I don't know, it took me 3 weeks to decide I didn't tell anybody, your the first person I've told" she said Elvis wiped her tears. "I'm so so sorry" he said "it wasn't your fault you didn't know" she said "I went off to look after my baby and you were carrying my baby" he cried "oh Georgie" he said "I'm so sorry" he added again she held his hands in hers "it's done now, okay, the past, we can't change it" she said "but we can change our future" he said she had tears streaming down her face "I'm scared Elvis" she said tears rolling down her cheeks "of me?" He asked "no, no" she laughed "of my heart breaking like it did when you left, I don't ever want to feel that pain again" she said "you won't ever have to I promise Georgie" he said she lent forward and he held her close "ouch" she cried leaning back "sorry" he said "no, it's not you, just my hip" she smiled relaxing back.
The doctor walked back in and smiled "nice to see you with us Sergeant Lane" he said Georgie laughed "just Georgie is fine" she smiled he nodded "they're going to fly you home tomorrow to Manchester hospital, Officer Harte can go with you, your going to stay in there for a few days and then they'll send you home, on strict bed rest" he said Georgie nodded "thank you" she said he nodded "you leave at 8am, your family haven't been informed if you want to give them a ring or we can" he said "no, no I'll do it thank you" she said he nodded and left. "I better call my mum" she said Elvis nodded "where's my phone?" She asked "here" he said passing it to her off of the side. "I'll FaceTime her" she said he nodded and she started ringing her "Georgie" she said half asleep "I'm so sorry I didn't think" she said "no your alright are you in hospital?" She asked concerned Georgie nodded "yeah, yeah I am" she said "are you alright?" She asked "I'm going to be fine" she smiled "what happened Georgie?" She said sitting up "a building collapsed on me, I broke my tibia and I've got a hairline fracture on my pelvis, they had to operate on my leg, but I'm okay now I promise, I'm coming home tomorrow they're taking me to Manchester hospital" she said "oh Georgie, we will be there you make sure to tell us what time" she said Georgie nodded "I will, mum one more thing" she said "what's that hunny?" She asked "Elvis is coming back with me" she said "Elvis? Was he hurt too?" She asked "no, no he's fine, he wasn't in the building, he got me out" she said "right" Grace said "he's coming back with me and that's that you'll have to battle it out tomorrow" she said Grace nodded "alright hunny, keep safe alright" she said Georgie nodded "bye mum" she said before shutting off the phone. Georgie just held Elvis's hand and went to sleep "it's all going to be alright George" he said stroking her hair she smiled and nodded.
