A big mess

Following morning

Grace walked downstairs to Georgie and Marie asleep on the sofa Georgie opened her eyes and smiled at her mum "Elvis did say you didn't go to bed" Grace smiled. "I didn't mean to fall asleep we just did watching the TV" she smiled "you're fine" Grace smiled walking into the kitchen. "Morning" Georgie smiled as Marie woke up "morning" she smiled sitting up Georgie smiled "mums making coffee" she said "I'm going to be sick" Marie said getting up and running upstairs "what's wrong with Marie?" Grace asked walking out "she needs a wee" Georgie laughed taking her decaf coffee from her mum and sipping it. "I'm going to get dressed I'll be down in a minute" Georgie said Grace nodded and smiled "I'm popping to Tesco I won't be long" she said Georgie nodded as she left. She knocked on the bathroom door and opened it to Marie sitting by the toilet "are you alright?" She asked Marie nodded "you're lucky" Marie said sitting back against the radiator "why?" Asked Georgie "because you have the man you love here, he's here for you" she said Georgie nodded "I'm so lucky" she said holding Marie's hand "but I'm here for you, and Elvis can pretend to be here for you just like fingers" she said Marie smiled "I love you George" she said "I love you too" she smiled hugging Marie. "Have you not been sick?" Marie asked Georgie nodded "violently, it stopped a couple of weeks ago but I still feel sick I just don't seem to be throwing up anymore" she said "it was mainly at night though" she said Marie nodded "it should get better" Georgie said Marie nodded "I hope so" she said. Lulu knocked on the door to use the bathroom "Who's in there?" She asked "we're coming out now" Georgie said helping Marie up. Georgie unlocked the door and they walked out "what are you two doing?" Lulu asked "Marie just doesn't feel too good" Georgie said holding her sister still "you ain't been sick in there have you?" Lulu asked "I've cleaned up you're fine" Marie said "alright, I hope you feel better soon Marie" she said walking into the bathroom. Georgie walked back to Marie's room with her and she lied her down on her bed "I'll be back in a minute Marie, I just need to see Elvis" Georgie said she nodded closing her eyes hugging her pillow. "Georgie you can tell him, I know you guys tell each other everything" she said Georgie smiled and nodded walking out. Elvis was sitting up in bed when Georgie walked in "have a good sleep?" He asked "it was alright, sorry I didn't come upto bed" she said sitting down "no, you're fine, I quite enjoyed having the whole bed to myself" he smiled she smiled and lied back in his arms "I've got to go back and see Marie she doesn't feel very well" she said "is she alright?" He asked Georgie nodded "she's 8 weeks pregnant Elvis" she said quietly "but nobody knows so you can't tell anyone" she said "you're both pregnant? At the same time?" He asked Georgie nodded and smiled "and only 4 weeks apart" she smiled Elvis laughed "we better brace ourselves for a house full of hormonal women then" he laughed Georgie nodded and smiled "I love you, I'm glad you're here" she said he smiled "I'm glad I'm here too" he smiled kissing her holding her tightly. "Why don't you get Marie in here? Tuck her in the other side of you and we can put a film on?" He asked Georgie nodded and smiled getting up. She walked into Marie room "hey Marie" she said sitting down on her bed rubbing her back "honestly George leave me" she said "I'm not leaving you, I know you feel like shit" she said holding her hand "I just want fingers" she cried "I know, I know you do" she said "Elvis wants you to come and get into bed with us and watch a film, come on, come and have some sister cuddles they make everything better" she said Marie turned and looked at her and nodded tears in her eyes. "Come on" Georgie smiled helping her up and wrapping her dressing gown around her she held her hand and they walked into Georgie's room "are you alright Marie?" Elvis asked she nodded wiping her tears "she just wants fingers back" Georgie smiled sympathetically rubbing her sisters back. Georgie climbed into bed and sat in the middle next to Elvis and Marie got in next to her "come here" Georgie said wrapping her arms around her sister "you said this goes away Georgie, when?" She said in tears "it will go, you'll stop feeling sick I promise Marie" she said holding her close Marie just lent into Georgie's chest and Georgie held her tightly "you're right sister cuddles do always make it better. They always have" Marie said Georgie smiled and kissed her head. Elvis put his arm around Georgie's back and held her as she held Marie. Soon enough Marie was asleep and Georgie was snuggled into Elvis "I love you" he said she smiled "I love you too" she said kissing his chest. "Are you happy now? Have you come to terms with it?" He asked "I'm happier, I'm getting there, helping her has helped me" she said Elvis smiled "I'm glad, I just want what's best for you" he said "that's why I'm training soldiers from now on, I know that's what is best, for you and this baby" he said she smiled and nodded "I think you might be right" she smiled "but you don't have to do that, not when you have an incredible career going for you" she said "I have an even more incredible career going for me here, being a dad" he said Georgie smiled tears in her eyes he would never usually open up to people like this she hugged him and held him close "I'm so glad that you're here with me, I need you to help me through this" she said tears running down her cheeks "I'm going to be here every step of the way" he said she nodded "I need to go and see Charlie today, tell him I can't go to Syria, he's going to need a reserve medic" she said Elvis nodded "we can go on the train later" he said she nodded and closed her eyes against his chest.
Grace knocked on her door to ask where Marie was "come in" Elvis said Georgie was awake again now, but Marie was still asleep next to her. "Georgie where's you're sister?" She asked "she's here" she said as her mum walked in "why is she with you?" Grace smiled "she doesn't feel very well she wanted some sister cuddles" she smiled Grace smiled "is she alright now?" She asked Georgie nodded as Grace felt Marie's head "she's a bit hot" she said "that's probably because there's 3 of us in a bed" Georgie laughed "she was sick that's all, a bit of an upset stomach" Georgie said Grace nodded "alright love" she smiled "here mum, we've got to pop to London to speak to Charlie in the office, I think it's my duty to do that in person, he needs to find another medic, we're going to stay the night in London will you look after her mum?" Georgie asked she nodded "of course I will" she said "it's just she really doesn't feel well, and I don't want her to suffer on her own" she said "I'll be fine Georgie" Marie smiled opening her eyes Georgie looked at her sister "I just want you to feel better" she said Marie smiled "I do feel a bit better, I promise, go on, go to London and have a good night" she said Georgie smiled "I'm glad you're feeling better" she said Marie smiled getting up "me too" she smiled walking out with Grace. Georgie snuggled back down with Elvis and he kissed her neck and put his hand on her belly "we're going to be epic parents, I mean what kid doesn't want epic stories from Afghanistan" Elvis smiled she smiled and kissed his lips "come on, let's get up, if we want to be in London before next Christmas we better get a move on" she laughed Elvis smiled and got up with her and they got dressed, packed and headed down. "Right mum we're off we'll see you tomorrow" she smiled kissing her mum "bye darling" she smiled watching them go.
