"It's can't be, the Red Knights are here?" Valor said with disbelief.

"Looks like we're gonna get our hands dirty." Said Curtis.

However, there weren't just soldiers there. They were building something, the men didn't know what it was, it looked like some sort of machine, a contraption of some sort, they seemed to be putting all of their attention towards it. A few minutes after they saw what they were doing, someone new appeared.

"Look, that's their leader." Whispered Kirin.
They knew because they had previously been on a kidnapping mission with the Jade creature in which they managed to get a glimpse of him.
He was the one that orchestrated the destruction of the samurai, by sending one of his men to the kingdom and having him tell them that he was from the future. The kingdom was foolish for believing him, but, anyone would have, even the men.

The leader stood in-front of the device they were building and prepared a speach.

"This is it, we have finally did it, this machine will make the red knights immortal, and we will all live forever as the red knights take control of the world, years of planning, finally paying off." The leader shouted.

"This isn't good, we have to destroy that thing, if it really does what they say, the red knights will have a larger army than the kingdom and the Vikings combined within a few years." Valor said urgently.

The men agreed and they prepared to fight to destroy that device.

"3,2,1 go now, don't let them scare you." Valor said finishing with a shout as the charged at the many red knights that were there. They were severely outnumbered, but they had the skills and training to make up for it.

Valor with his long sword, Kirin with his spiked  mace, and Curtis with his hammer. They fought with everything they had, Valor managing to take out up to 5 men within the space of seconds and Chris blocking everything that came at him. It came to the point where there was one enemy left, and within a second, all the men swung their weapons at one man, giving him a gruesome death. Now it was the kings turn.

The men stood around the king cornering him off against the machine.

"It's over, you have lost." Valor said as the men raised their weopons.

"NEVER!!." The long shouted. Before he took a bag out of his pocket and tree it into the contraption, and flipping the wooden lever.
The sky then started to turn red, and thunder appeared out of nowhere and struck the device. It powered up and lasers shot out of it, and went straight into the men's chests. The king tried to step ivory of the lasers so that he would be affected but he kept getting thrown away.
The laser then came to a halt, as the men fell to their knees.

"NO, THAT WASN'T MEANT TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!" The king shouted with pure anger.

"Well, looks like your still an old man." Curtis laughed.

The king tried to run, but Kirin was quick to take him down and bury his mace in his back.

The men were confused.

"So wait, are we all immortal now." Kirin asked as he removed his mace from the kings back.

"I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see, it may take a few years to find out." Said Valor.

The men were all only 33 years old, Curtis being the oldest. They didn't know what to think about what had happened, would it be good if they were immortal or not, they all didn't know.

The men returned to the kingdom and consulted General Borden.

"So, what happened." The general asked optimistically.

"Well....um.... we, we'll we found red knights across the river, we took care of them, there's nothing to worry about." Valor told the general doing his best not to mention what happened to them.

"Well.....good job, you can return to the barracks now." Said General Borden with a slightly confused look on his face.

The men returned to the barracks and were wondering all night if what had happened to them really did make them immortal, if it did, they would be trapped fighting for the rest of eternity if they stayed with the kingdom, but the men were optimistic and stayed positive.

"What if it's true, what if we really are ageless from now on, we can't stay with the kingdom, we'll never be allowed to retire from combat." Kirin shouted.

"I know it's scary, but we have to stay open minded, nothing good will come if we panic." Valor reassured Kirin.

"Answer the question!" Yelled Curtis "What if it's true." Asked Curtis with anger.

"We'll just have to wait and see......"
