Everyone got their stuff together and made it the rest of the way to the hunting grounds. A safe area was set up and the men prepared their weapons.

"Alright everyone listen up!!" Bjorik shouted, gathering all the hunters together and stopping the commotion.

"Those beasts are very dangerous and without a doubt are willing to kill you just for a laugh." Bjorik announced.

"I have made a plan that if followed correctly....can lead to all of us leaving here with our lives." Kirin explained after Bjorik.

Kirin explained the plan to the hunters, receiving all of their attention. Stress ran through the crowd like air, coursing through the veins of all the hunters. The plan was simple but crucial. Stay in groups of 5, surround said beast if it is spotted, and drive your weapons into the usual soft points. The hunters discussed this and grouped up instantaneously. Valor, Kirin and Curtis stayed togather, since they were experienced in fighting and knew what they were doing. The other hunters would spread out and clear as many of the beasts as they could, they would regroup after 2 hours.

"Let's go, come on you panzys, hurry the hell up." Curtis shouted, shewing all the men out into the forests. The men then ran in themselves and began their search.

They walked through the vegetation, sticks snapping at their feet, mosquitos sticking to their necks. The first roar was heard through the trees, the hunters found their first beast, the struggle could be heard. Yells. Taunts. Growls.

"Don't get too freaked out about that, they know what they're doing, stick to the plan." Kirin suggested, seeing the reactions of the other men's faces. They nodded, still sticking to the arrangement as the sounds of the beasts and the men faded away.

Another few silent moments before the men finally saw one......

"AAAAAHHH, SHIT!!" Curtis shouted as the beast jumped at him knocking him to the ground and attempting to bite his head off. Curtis shoved his hammer in front of the beasts mouth, as it tried to bite through it. It's teach snapping as it bit onto the hard metal his hammer was made out of.

"DO SOMETHING!!!!" Curtis shouted as Kirin slammed his mace into the side of the beast. It let out a daunting yelp, but continued to claw at Curtis. Bjorik then threw his sword at the beast, the tear in the flesh could be heard across the whole forest. The beast slowed down, still alive but struggling. Curtis managed to get ahold of himself and he tossed the beast to his side, freeing himself.

"Finish it!!" Curtis shouted. As Kirin lifted his arm into the air holding his mace. Then crushing the beasts skull with a single blow to the head, finally killing it.

"I wish Valor was here." Curtis Said to himself as he got up, pieces of teeth falling off of his chest plate armour. Exhaling deeply, repeatedly.

After a short pause for breath Kirin spoke.

"Let's get moving, there's more of them out there......." Kirin told the men, as they showed a look of disappointment.

They moved for another few minutes, hearing screams of terror again and again through the thick trees. The sounds of the beasts attacking reminded them of their past battles alongside the Jade creature. The screams. The blood. The death. All of these things came back to them instantaneously.

"LOOK, another one up forward!!!" Bjorik shouted, seeing a beast running at them at full speed, eager to chew on their brains.

"Come on, let's show this wet dog what we're made of!!" Curtis shouted, his hammer held with pride, ready to fight.

"Oh shit." Kirin muttered to himself softly, but with terror. Another beast backed up the one that was already charging at them, ready to team up with it to kill the men.

"Don't let your guards down, we can do this!!" Bjroik shouted, keeping the men on their feet, but visibly disturbed. He knew that the men were going to have to put in double the effort to kill these beasts.

"WAIT FOR IT.....WAIT FOR IT......GO!!!" Broil shouted, signalling the men to attack, swinging their weapons at the beasts at full force.

One beast went after Bjorik, the other jumped at Kirin, leaving Curtis to assist them both.
Bjroik dodged to the side, the beast ran face first into the tree, temporarily stunning itself.
Kirin blocked the beasts bite with his mace, maintaining his stance, not letting himself get knocked over.

Bjorik then threw a swipe at his beast, barely scratching its flesh. Curtis came from behind and hit the beasts back-side with his hammer. The beast let out an imposing yelp. It however didn't give up and it threw another bite at Bjorik, kicking Curtis away with its back leg. The beasts teeth snapped Bjroiks sword in half, disarming him, leaving him defenceless.

Kirins beast scratched his face, nearly gouging his eye out, stunning Kirin. The beast then used it'a snout to hit Kirin to the side, bringing him closer to Bjorik. Curtis later there unconscious, the beasts kick leaving him the incapacitated. The beasts cornered Bjorik and Kirin against a tree, growling at them, ready to pounce.

"This is the end of the line Bjorik, it's been an honour to fight alongside you." Kirin expressed, looking the beast right in the eye, but speaking to Bjorik.

"May Valhalla hold a place for all of us." Bjorik replies before screaming."VALHALLA!!" Bjorik screamed at the top of his lungs, paying homage to his Viking brothers.

Then, form behind the beasts, a figure appeared. It was holding a weapon, was it.....?
It was Valor.

"FIGHT ME YOU FIENDISH PIGS!" Valor screamed, getting the beasts attention. He drove his long sword right into the beasts side, killing it instantly. The other beast jumped at him, seeing it's dead companion, pouncing at Valor, but to no avail. Valor blocked the pounce, which moved him back against a tree, the ground crumbling at his feet. He tossed the beast to the side by its mouth. He then lifted his prized sword into the air, and swung it down at full force onto the beasts head, beheading it. Killing it. This showed Valors fighting mite, and proved his strength in battle as a former kingdom commander.

"Valor?" Kirin asked, not believing that his friend was out of the city hospital.

"I knew it was in him......"
