The Order of Jade

Chapter 25 - The Wrath of The Order

"Valor, how the hell did you get out of the hospital?" Bjorik asked Valor, stumbling over to him one step after the other, exhausted. Valor then picked up his sword and sheathed it.

"I snuck out. One of those beasts invaded the city and killed 14 civilians." Valor revealed, the men looked to each other in shock. "I knew that you would need help out here as soon as I saw what they can do, let's get this mission over with. I'll help you every step of the way, we'll do this as a team."

Valor spoke to the order, and each one of them agreed with everything he said. They weren't blindly following him, they knew that he was right. And that if they did this as a team like the always did, they would succeed no matter what.

Sounds of many more beasts could be heard echoing in the distance. The trees rumbled after each one of their footsteps. It was time to fight.

"Let's show these panzys what we're made of." Curtis yelled, humouring the men.

"This mission has a very high chance of success." Kirin added, showing hope.

"Valhalla will come another day." Bjorik told himself out loud, indicating that he wasn't going to let himself die today.

"Let's show they the power of The Order of Jade!!!" Valor shouted, as the beasts came charging at them at full speed out of the trees. They growled in aggression, they were prepared to tear the men apart.

"ATTACK!!!" Valor shouted, and the men charged towards the beast with their weapons drawn and ready to attack.

A beast jumped at Curtis, knocking him down. It tried to claw at his face. But Curtis had enough of it. He blocked the attack with his hammer, and deflected the attack, hitting the creature right in its face, and it let out a painful yelp. Curtis then ran at the beast, he screamed at the top of his lungs and swung his hammer right onto the beasts head.

"Learn some manners you ugly ass fiend." Curtis said to the beasts bleeding corpse as he lifted his hammer and ran at another beast.

Valor quickly swung his sword in a circle and killed 3 beasts with one the space of a few seconds. The beasts all fell to the ground and blood came rushing out of their heads.

Bjorik jumped at a beast, and held onto its back as it stumbled around trying to throw him off. Bjorik positioned his sword and drove it right into the beasts nape, and it fell to the ground, shaking the ground. Another beast tried to jump at him. It ran up and jumped. However Bjorik ducked and quickly sliced the beasts stomach as it jumped over him. It's guts and roe spilled all over him.

"By Odins beard." Bjorik said to himself, disgusted by the beasts insides.

Kirin immediately stopped a beast in its tracks, slamming his mace right onto the top of its head, decommissioning it's brain permanently.
Another one jumped at him from the side. Kirin dodged its pounce and slammed his mace in the same place, rendering the beast useless, deceased. 2 more charged at him. Drool running out of their mouths like a waterfall.
And with one swing......Kirin killed them both with his mace, swiping it to the side and crushing their skulls.

The men fought endlessly. One by one the beasts fell. Their helps and screams filled the woods. With the sound of bones falling apart as the men swung their weapons.

After killing many more beasts the men were exhausted. And the numbers started to thin out. Less beast started attacking, and the men could take a breather every once in a while.
The rest of the hunters appeared, and killed off the remaining beasts that surrounded the area. The men all stood together, and fell to the ground in exhaustion, all heaving, gasping for air.

The men all stood up after a few minutes laying there on the ground. Valor pulled himself together and spoke to all the hunters, seeing all the looks of accomplishment and victory on their faces.

"My friends, we have done it. The city is now safe, and free of those demonic slimes. Let us return to the city, and celebrate. Like men." Valor said to the crowd of hunters who all erupted in cheers and hoorays. The hunters returned to the camp, and the men stayed for a second.

(The Order of Jade Narration)

Valor: We fought alongside The Jade Creature for years, we served the kingdom for even longer. And we never showed any sign of desperation or regret.

Kirin: We endured years of pain and sorrow. And showed the world what we were truly capable of. No one stood a chance against us.

Curtis: Those worthless pests we took care of stood no chance against us, and as for the kingdom, they'll know what they missed out on when they hear about us in a few hundred years.

Bjorik: Valhalla will have a spot ready for me. As for the rest of the men, paradise will await them. But until then, I have no intention of stopping the battle, and no intention of giving up on our journey.

Valor: If something happens. Anywhere. Then we'll be there. And we'll stop anything that threatens the ones in need. The world will see us as true hero's. And they will never forget the name.......The Order......Of Jade.
