Valor was mad at the men for constantly making fun of him because of that girl, she was their commander, and they wouldn't of liked it if he did it to them. The men spoke to each other when Valor left the room.

"Look guys, let's give it up, we should be jealous of him." Kirin said, wiping the smiles off of Bjorik and Curtis' faces. They looked to the floor, thinking about what Kirin said.

"Yeah your right.....hey how about we go on the next mission by ourselves, leave him alone with Lisa, it's the least we can do." Curtis suggested, and the other men nodded.

They got up and left a note on the table, telling Valor that they were sorry for what they said and that they would leave him out of this next mission just so he could go on that date with Lisa. It was the best apology they could give.

They got up and left, they had an arranged meeting with this crazy old man that worked in the woods, who had reported seeing quick movements in the forest, that sounded like tigers. However, he said that the one he saw had bloody red eyes, and black fur that he found on the trees. He also said that they had burns all over them, like each one of them was caught in some horrific fire in their lives.

The men spoke to him when they got there.
"Hi, are you Mel?" Bjorik asked the old man, as he turned around and looked at him.

"It's you? Yes it you, I've been waiting for you, you must come with me, I have something you have to see!" The man told them, shaking and stumbling in fear. The men looked at each other, thinking that this was just the old eyes of a crazy old man.

He led them to his hut, that looked like it had not been taken care of in years. And he showed them the evidence. This is where the men started to believe what he was saying. He had samples of the beasts on his table. The old man showed pieces of the beasts hide, it's fur and it's claws. And they were unlike any specimens the men had ever seen.

"Incredible." Kirin said, amazing at what he was seeing.

"I found these while I was searching my old farmland." The old man said. In today's terms he sounded a bit like Christopher Lloyd, maybe he went back in time to find these beasts, who knows.

The men then pointed to where he found them, Bjorik looked over there.

"There doesn't seem to be any......WHAT THE HELL!!!?" He yelled, moving back slightly in shock. The men were confused as to what he saw, they hoped he hadn't of gone crazy.

"What? What did you see?" Curtis asked with haste.

Bjorik then ran outside around the house, fear visible in his face. He looked in exactly the same place outside, seeing nothing this time.

"I saw it!!" He shouted. "I SAW THE BEAST!!" He shouted again, louder.

Kirin and Curtis feared for Bjorik, never seeing him so scared before. Vikings weren't known to show any fear, no matter what, especially if they were a former Viking commander like Bjorik.

"THERE!!!"

(Valors POV)

Valor went on that "date" with Lisa. He dressed as well as he could, buying a nice silk outfit from the markets. And he also did his hair for the first time in a long time. His hair was snowy white, and most of his legs he would trim it a bit with his knife that he never used. But this time he went to a barber, who gave him a better trim, made him look like a real man.

He walked over to the diner where they were meant to meet. And sat down at a table. He did see her anywhere around the place, so he figured he would sit there and wait for her, if she really did like him like the men said she would notice him.

There he saw her, and oh boy did he like what he saw. She walked into the room with an incredible fluffy blue dress. She was wearing what looked like diamond earring and a golden bracelet. She had her hair up in a ponytail that went all the way down her back and nearly to her backside. She saw Valor and smiled as she walked over to him at his table.

"Well you dressed up for today didn't you." Valor said to her with a smile on his face. She laughed and replied.

"I though you deserved it, I mean you haven't seen a nicely dressed woman in many years have you not?" She joked.

"True be told......no." They laughed. And struck up a conversation in less than a few seconds.

"Tell me a bit about yourself, Valor, I hear you are a tough solider......."
