Alex, Elena and I were arguing and yelling as we walked into the apartment. "Don't talk to me." she said. I felt bad but it wasn't our fault. we were jut trying to help them. "Calm down Elena!" I told her. " You're totally overreacting." Alex added. "Overreacting?" she yelled. " Hey hey what's going on here." Lupe said while getting up from the table. "He's been lying about having a girlfriend." she told them as Abuelita stood up and said, "Papito's gay to?" I wanted to laugh but it wasn't the right time and place too. "Aaliyah and I will be the only women he ever loved. Okay i'm good" i-

"No. The "P" in his phone was Papi. They've been sneaking around and seeing him." the half of the truth came out i guess. Lupe started coming towards us so I sat down on couch to let Alex and her talk. I may be apart of this family but I don't want to deal with Lupe when it comes to Victor. "What? Your papi's back in the country? Since when?" she asked him. Alex explained how long he's been back for and where he is staying.

"You guys were seeing him without telling me?" she asked. "It's not as bad as it sounds." I told them truthfully. "We know you wouldn't like it, so we made a plan that I would make up a girlfriend, then we meet papi in secret so you wouldn't find out." Alex explained as she looked at me at said, "No, that's as bad as it sounds."

"Aaliyah, papito, your making me side with Elena, and it's very upsetting." Alex rolled his eyes as i got up, stood next to him to and held his hand to calm him down. "Listen guys, i'm not upset because you saw victor. I'm upset because you lied to me." "Papi said it was easier this way. You all hate him, so why make trouble? This way everybody's happy." he explained. " We are not happy. I should be smothering you guys with kisses right now, but instead i am frowning. Ay, my lips are so confused." Abuelita said causing me to sigh and Alex squeezes my hand tighter than he already was.

Elena came over to us and started talking. "I thought you guy had my back. You know what he did. I guess you guys are fine with it, huh?" "Elena..." Alex and I said at the same time. "I will never forgive you guys for this." she said while leaving to her room. "What are we supposed to do, Mom? Ignore him forever." Alex asked before pulling me with him to his room.



For the rest of the day we were just in his room watching movies on his tv and just cuddling. He was pretty upset about the situation. I get not being able to talk to your parents. I don't remember anything about mine. I'm kinda happy that they know that we were with victor. I hate the thought of Alex having a girlfriend who isn't me. And it didn't help that her name was Paige. The fourth movie we had watched just ended and we tried to use the remote to change the movie but it wasn't working. I guess the batteries were dead

Alex and I went outside to search for new ones. "Abuelita, are there batteries in here?" Alex asked as we were going through one of the drawers near the kitchen. I picked up this white piece of cloth thing and asked Abuelita what it was. "What is this? Some kind of shawl?" I said bringing it over to her and Alex followed me. She looked at it and gasped dramatically dropping the cup in her hand. "No! No!" we looked at her confused. she grabbed it out go my hands. "It is not a long-lost manilla from spain that nearly ripped the family apart!" she continued as she threw it in her room. "I should call Mirtha." she paused, "Meh." and with that she walked away to where we found it.

"Alex, Aaliyah..." Elena said waking in the apartment and over to us. "What we do know?" he asked. "Everything" she responded hugging us. Lupe explained that they just saw victor and that he told them that we tried to fix their relationship. "Yeah i guess we did that" I said. "Building bridges." Alex added. "You know, papi even said Alex called him a typical cisgender male and Aaliyah him a misogynistic pig. I couldn't be more proud." Elena told us. I laughed and Alex just glared at me. I smiled at him and he smiled him. God his smile.

Elena andLupe were hugging him when he said, "Can everybody stop hugging me." "Sí, back away. I haven't had my turn. Dámelo." Abuelita pushing them off of him. "My whole life has been your turn." he told her. "plus it's Aaliyahs turn." He said coming over to me. "Oh I see." she said smirking. See what? what do I not see? I'm so confused. "You guys better get used to this. I love you dumdums." She said joining our hug. "See this makes me happy. I couldn't stand seeing you guys mad at each other. You've all always been so close. We hugged each other tighter. So tight that my head was presse against Alex's chest because of how short I am compare to him. Now let me tell you I was so close to his chest that so could smell his Cologne. and it smelled so good. Alex and I went to his room and fell asleep cuddling. Today was one heck of day.
