I've just seen him across the road next to Limbo park. His clad in a black. His just a perfect model for the occasion and this leaves me mesmerized and stare at my lame efforts to impress, my tattered red crimson dress alongside black ankle boots. This probably cost Ms Smith a fortune and I couldn't accept this. It was way too expensive for my liking. My future earnings couldn't be compared to this.
"You look so great," he complements as he kisses me hello and leads me ahead.
I see a limousine just ten feet away reading the occasion was for another place.
The perfect gentleman, he opens the door for me. My heart melts in owe.
And shuts it tenderly then walks to the other side.We sit side by side in silence till the destination.
Its labelled bar but I see no one inside.
As if reading my thoughts,"I made a booking specifically for only us tonight. " Am so impressed. The bar is lit with only one candle from one corner and the rest is darkness. I can barely see my surroundings but I leave him make lead to the desirable table.
A lady clad in black too, probably the bartender walks in with drinks in her hands. A Matinee and red wine,in two glasses. She places the red wine for Alec and matinee I.
"Any food order?" he asks breaking the silence.
"No am good,this will do."
The bartender walks away," excuse me."
I take a sip of my drink staring into the glass.
"Hope you good," he again says.
"Yes I am," I reply.
Am scared of looking up so as not to meet his eyes so they linger in the drink. I don't think I'd be able to handle myself if I could see him. My heart has been racing from the time I saw him and right now it feels like its miles ahead."Do I really affect you that much," he exclaims.
"What!" bewildered.
"Your sweaty,I can feel your breath being held," he admits and I blush not looking up.
"Its really nothing."
"Kathryn please look at me," it feels like a command and I find myself obeying. Am now looking up at his arms. He points to his face and I oblige.
My eyes meet his. Am drown in a daze, his blue eyes feel like am drowned at the middle of a sea. I can notice the grin in his eyes.
How is he so calm yet am here panicking. He smiles at me and I find myself smiling back.
"I really like it when you blush," he catches me off guard. By reflex, am staring down again at my empty glass.
"No,here," pointing to his face.
