"How's that possible?" am screaming, strolling now around his office. "My parents we're both very poor."
"But your grandpa wasn't," he states.
"Grandpa!" am now shocked. "I have no grandpa neither do I have any relatives."
"Yes now but you did have. When your mother left the town of Gotham when she was little, she met your father and your grandpa abandoned her because he was against the relationship.
Your mother was so much in love that she chose your father's side, and forgot about her father and the wealth.
Grandpa sure didn't,that's where the will came from." he states.
Am shell shocked then I just storm out in tears.
All the drama I'd been through, I couldn't handle all that now. It was too much on my plate to handle. The sobs turned to wails as I took the stairs straight back home.
My heart was breaking instead of being joyful because of all the news. Its like the healing wounds we're reopened, ripped and exposed to a sour environment with salt flying every where.
I just fall to the ground, between hiccups.
Why,why did this all have to happen to a female eighteen year old,the tears I've shed are worse, countless. This was too much for my plate right now.
But again if father had known about the assets,he'd have manipulated me to gambling it all out for more alcohol till its all exhausted and no more, then he discards me like his daily routine trash that I am.
So I do the unthinkable, running back upstairs with long strides.
Busting into the room,Mr Smith was still sitting there as if he did expect me, he smiles at me.
Then I embrace him in a big hug.
"I accept the offer, what does Ms Kathryn Monde I mean Forbes, own," grinning at the smiling Smith.
"Whatever lays in this town, is all yours," standing.
This chapter was quite intense and brief, what do you guys think.
