Drawing the curtains, the rain is pouring heavily outside now, thunder rattling in the far east and lightening strikes over and over again. But this couldn't stop me so waiting to see it get minimal is no option so i decide to proceed with the mission. Am leaving today and right this moment.
The body was being handled, treated and dressed by the specialists from the morgue so I couldn't bare seeing the reaction from Mr Smith face after the strange news of the body was to be broken to him.
In other words, they let him sleep for the entire night.
And I planned not be there to see him being torn apart. He didn't deserve it. The jolly couple, always there for each other. No!!!
Images of Ms Smith poor body a day ago or two, just discarded there in the cold, rotting and ventured by the vultures reeled my heart to pieces.
"Why did she have to die?" am now sobbing. I get a running nose but that's less of the worries at the moment but escape to save him from more depression and responsibility for me.
When I almost lost my life today to the monster, that portrayed how capable he really was.
So she was probably bitten by Vondrich.Or it could be Alec whose the killer.
My heart breaks so much thinking of Alec being the route cause of all this saga from day one.
With less to pack, I throw the few cloths I obtained during my stay here in a backpack and out I leave with my flash light, into the rain without a bye bye to Mr Smith, scared of seeing the judgement in his eyes.
A month ago I didn't think I'd even leave, claiming this was my refuge till that image was tainted.
I take the route to the north leaving the one coming from my hometown amidst the heavy pours. The road is pitch dark except for my flash light. I decide not to take refuge and keep walking till I come across a gas station. There's no one at sight so I cross over in search for a map for direction, at least I needed to find out what lays ahead of me in this mysterious wilderness before I meet my death the second time.
It takes me so long locating Gotham town and the forests. Indeed its covered by a woodland so I just give up and take whatever road am led to, whether to wolves or a herd of vampires.
When I hear the sound of a motor coming by. At this moment I didn't trust anyone and no matter the rain I didn't need a ride. So I decide the safest thing to do. Run.
The cruising car doesn't halt as I run forward. That old hilux, belongs to none other than Alex.
"Get in Kath," he pushes the passenger door open.
"Please leave me alone," am now sobbing.
"Get in Kath," now so calmly. "If you don't wanna get back to town, well and good I'll take you wherever you wanna get to but please don't let yourself catch a cold."
Am debating on obliging or not when a Toyota Camry cruises around the bend and to a sudden halt.
It had to be Alec indeed, now, I sigh,"get in Kathryn,"he calls louder from across the road then walks out from the vehicle, then holds my hand and drugging me away to his refuge.
"What do you think your doing?" Alex screams.
"What the sap sucker couldn't do,leading her back home," he replies.
"Sap sucker?"
