Their holiday had come to and end the next day and despite the negative evening Yingyue had spent she was happy that morning. She had been awoken with breakfast in bed and the couple had spent their morning talking about looking into house shopping in the upcoming days. What she did not expect was for Si to have left sometime during the wee hours of the morning with no explanation and the group to travel back as a 7. She didn't dwell on it much for the time being still partially in her own world following her breakdown the night before. 

She didn't think much at all into that situation until that very night. When she sat on her bed between Ximen's legs and her laptop open as they started to book house viewings. Ximen's phone abruptly rung and when Si's contact number came up the pair looked at each other in confusion. It wasn't like the leader of F4 to call either of them he normally texted the person he wanted. Though in this moment they both decided it was important enough to require a phone call and Ximen quickly clicked the answer button and followed it with the speaker.

"Ximen, I'm assuming I'm on speaker so Yingyue you better also be there I need both of you." Came the voice of Daoming Si who sounded like he'd done nothing but cry for the entire day. He sounded utterly devastated and Yingyue went to hold Ximen's hand in fear of what the young man on the phone would say. 

"We're both here. What's happened?" Ximen replied him too not sure what had happened to one of his best friends but also very worried.

"Its Shancai and I just want to be sure I wasn't over reading things that it wasn't all in my head." 

"Si, sweetie, is this why you came home early?" Yingyue's tone was gentle as if she was speaking to a child, a very upset child. 

"Hmm I went out in the evening after Lei denied doing anything with Shancai because it was late and she'd gone for another walk and not come back. I... I caught them kissing on the beach." Si finished his explanation and the couple could tell he was in tears once again. 

"It wasn't all in your head Si, she made it out she had feelings for you, we could both see that Meizuo could see that." Ximen was the first one to try to console the upset boy, he too took on the tone as if he was talking to an upset child.

"You aren't over reacting either, you have genuine feelings for this girl and we all thought she had them for you. I promise you're not overreacting and what you saw and felt wasn't all in your head." Yingyue continued on in the same tone as it seemed to be calming the young man down. She shouldn't have been surprised considering his parents were never truly around and she knew Si only wanted the love of a family, it was possibly why he clung so much to Shancai, he just wanted to feel love. 

"Really?" Si's voice was quiet, unsure and almost unbelieving. 

"We're positive" the couple spoke in unison and would have laughed if the situation was not serious. 

"Are you alone Si? Would you like to come round mine so you're not alone tonight?" Yingyue questioned, though the manner she did it in was not one where you could argue with it. She had used this kind of approach many a times when trying to get the boys to not do something stupid over the years. But for once she was using it because she was generally concerned about her friend. 

"If you both wouldn't mind."

"Si there's no point in arguing with Ye-Ye she'll only make us both come over to yours." And it was agreed the young man on the phone going to collect his keys so he could head over to Yingyue's house. It would be around a 15 minute drive which would give the couple time to talk between themselves about the latest going on in their, what was turning into, very complex last year at university. 

Closing her laptop for good Yingyue spun on the bed so she was now facing Ximen and they could have a proper relationship.

"I can't believe Lei would continue to chase after Shancai, he knows how much Si likes her." Ximen started putting the blame of the situation onto Lei when they both knew he was heartbroken over the Jing situation, however Yingyue had a slightly different outlook on the situation.

"I had a dodgy feeling about Shancai when she started to really get involved, I shouldn't have ignored it. She stringing Si along and who knows if she truly has any feelings for Lei. They both knew and still went and continued doing whatever they were doing." Yingyue could only rant feeling a sudden rage against the younger girl, whom she had begin to start to trust in the last couple of weeks. Had it all been a publicity stunt to gain her popularity? Had this all been part of the girls masterplan this entire time to get the two boys to fall for her so that if something went wrong she would still make her way up the social ladder? 

It was in this moment she began to question everything the younger girl had done during their short lived friendship. All the times she had just disappeared somewhere whilst they were on their little trips. When she had acted even the slightest bit suspiciously, had she been flirting with all four members in the beginning but it only worked on two of them. She hoped not. She was concrete in her relationship status and knew her fiancé would never look astray or at another woman, however, the thought of someone she considered a friend trying to chase after him was not a nice one. 

"I just could never imagine it happening. Watching one of my best friends snog the girl I was in love with." Ximen pondered aloud. "Not that you'd ever do that" he added on quickly afterwards fearing her thinking something negative, though all he got was a laugh in response.

"Oh Ximen, you're stuck with me for life, the other boys I view as brothers they've got no chance. Chang though... but I'd bet you'd find that hot if we were to kiss." Yingyue replied before she was caught off by Ximen kissing her. 

The couple cleared the stuff they had out whilst they were organising house viewings and waited for any indication that Si had arrived. They didn't have to wait long for it would appear the couple's mutual friend could remember exactly which room was hers and had swung the door open. A small bag in his hand and obvious signs of him having been upset he very quickly flung himself onto the bed next to where the two were sat. 

Looking at him Yingyue could only be reminded of a much younger version of both of them. When he had come to her absolutely distraught because his older sister was moving away and he was scared to be on his own. She found herself mirroring what she had done time and time before when Si had been upset, pulling the taller into her arms and allowing him to cry it out. She had always told him that crying was not a weakness and that she would care for him even more if he continued to open up and let her in. When he had finally calmed down enough so that his cries were almost completely stopped, this was when the couple decided to talk to him further. 

"Have you told anyone else?" Ximen questioned wanting to know if Meizuo had been contacted. 

"No you two were the first I called." Si replied and a mutual feeling passed through the couple they were the first he had turned to and that was a nice little boost to their pride. 

"Would you like me to tell him? Maybe tell your sister as well, she might be able to help as well." Ximen offered up and watched on in anticipation for his response.

"Please? I'll call my sister but I can't guarantee she'll be able to do much from where she is currently." And to that Ximen slipped from the room going to call Meizuo and Yingyue watched on as Si got his phone out to call his sister, she stayed by her friends side offering him a small squeeze in response each time he got emotional about the situation whilst on the phone to his sister. 

"Meizuo is on his way, he's demanded that we can't start the cuddle session until he's here."

And when Meizuo burst through her bedroom door not too long afterwards the first thing he did was throw himself on top of the leader of F4. And true to his words the group of four did end up cuddling as they fell asleep.
